Update!

These are exactly 2 weeks of flowering. I've switched to tiger bloom and mollasses. I'm also giving them bat guano and worm castings (big bloom)

Heres a bad pic, they are hard to see.. but theres 4 super lemon haze, an ak48 and 2 tutti fruttis'

This AK48 is super thick.. i can barely see the stem!! I think the side lighting helps it out

These super lemon haze are growing some very thin sativa leaves!!

This AK48 is bulking up fast!! it smells a lot like strawberries

Heres a super lemon haze next to ak48. This particular lemon haze stretched a lot more then the others, and smells quite different
it'll be interesting to see what it's like.

all of the fanleaves below the top are perfectly healthy, with a healthy stature, and these are skinny and limp

I am so ghetto that I start my plants on a shelf in my bathroom that I put underneath my mirror light. All I did was replace the incandescents with 6500K cfls, cracked a window, and presto instant veg room.

Mandi, your plants are looking great. I think your cfls will(or would have) dominated one 400W HID. Supplemental side lighting is were its at if you aren't pruning to grow top buds only.

Yeah, Just a regular bathroom vanity at any hardware store, then you buy a strip of wire, and a 3 prong plug in. Connect the appropriate wires and your good to go

I actually feel that im using too much power, and would get a much better result from a 600w digi hps, but I think the sidelighting is definatly great and helps with a lot of the side buds who would of otherwise been left behind

Heres Nirvanas AK48, Its very bulky with mostly one big bud up the center. In fact I like this one so much I'm going to clone it and try to revert it back to veg (to make a mother) If you had a bunch of clones in a scrog setup, you could pump out a lot of weight with these girls
