3x600w or 2x1000w Digital?

Have been using 2x 1000w magnetic ballasts for awhile now and want to upgrade to digitals.

Plant canopy/coverage space is 4ftx8ft (120cm x 220 cm), 28 x 12L pots

No probs getting 2lb per lucagrow 1kw hps now..

Should i go 2x 1000w digitals or 3x 600w digitals?

Whos gone from 1kw magnetic to 600w lumatek?

Proper footprint for HPS lights according to Cannastats:

1000w HPS
5'10"

600w HPS
4'8"

400w HPS
3'6"

250w HPS
2'8"

150w HPS
2'


I'd go with 2 600w or 2 400w.

i would go with the 600s four would be even better. you can put the 600s closer and you get better coverage.

I'd vote towards getting another 1k, you already are used to doing things that way.

I run two 1Kw Lumateks on Super Lumen with Ushio bulbs. Two Magnum XXXL-8 hoods are 6.5'. You say you have a 4'x8' these hoods would smash the light all over that room.

I hang mine over 5'x10' and would stick with the 2 1Kws.

Im leaning towards getting 1000w lumatek digitals and using MH bulbs for veg since the ballasts can run either. Ive always vegd with 2x 400w son-t-agro..

Upgrading to veg with 2000w mh and the increased light i get with digitals should make staying with 1000w lights the better option.

Its hard to go back once you use 1kw lights, they so strong

Anyone got 3 600s or 2 1000s in a similar area?
