Can I top my plants in flower?

I have super lemon haze, ak48 and Tutti-Frutti They are all 2 days into flower.

My intention was to top them once in veg, but I flowered at the spur of the moment so I didnt get a chance.

Is it too late to pinch my tops? will It have any adverse reactions seeing as their in flower?

Plain and simple don't do it. U can get away with it ur first week in flower but it just bad practice imo. Don't remove anything that isn't over half dead in flower unless ur harvesting.

Not at all. I accidentaly broke the top off my Sadhu a few days into flower and it actually ended up increasing yield by at least 50%, if not more.

Though it may depend entirely on the current structure of your plants. Posting a pic will help us a lot in helping you decide.

I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't before with this strain and especially if you don't NEED to.

With that said, at about six weeks, one of my ogres decided to have another small stretch and grew right into my light in 2 days lol. Burned the top three inches of the cola.

Had to cut it off but I swear all the other buds like doubled in size within the next week. Maybe would of happened anyways, but it seemed like they grew more then they would of. It was my only ogre..

Topping right now might increase your plants flowering time,But like the other guys said it could also increase your yield.

i wouldnt top in flowering...maybe bend and train shoots for the first couple of weeks while they are still bendable...u will notice them getting harder and woodier as flowering progresses, but they are pliable during the onset...

I asked the same question here some months ago and people told me no; the nugs that you cut off is a part lost you'd never have back! If i knew then what i know now i would have topped some of them anyway. But my issues were with the lack of ceiling-space.

Two days it's not even stretched yet, I wouldn't unless there were height issues and no other options...probably not much loss of yield, I don't see why it would make them flower longer...but every strain is different, with a long flowering sativa...probably not a big deal.

Mine are like 2 days into flower so there are no nugs. And i've heard that super lemon haze stretches like crazy in flower, so maybe it's a good thing to top em?

i usually top a week into flowering so i say wait about another week. but ive never grown that strain so i don't know if it is recommended.. but have no worries you can top now if you want to.

I cut it down just past the burnt/damaged part. I didn't leave any damaged parts. I figured whats another [cm] of green stuff, if i'm cutting three [in] or so off the top.. Hope that helps.. Did your plants get a little burned?

I have an indoor Super lemon haze girl that is 5 weeks into 12/12 after 4 weeks veg..she is a few inches over 6' tall ( bottom of bucket to top) looks like she has stopped stretching..I let her grow with no training/trims/tops glad I did not trim her since she is making a very nice cola at the top...

it's not good to top in flowering in flowering you can train instead of topping.
