I've called rescue many times. The best was when I lost a friend, not because he died, but because he didn't want to be saved (probation, legal troubles) You kids need to get on a steady dose of methadone and cut out the shit. Most of my childhood friends are dead, those of us that are not sometimes wish we were, as probation, parole, jail and everything that comes with opiates. If you haven't got busted heavy yet, its on its way. Quitting is near impossible when your that far in, Methadone sucks but is what it is. Karma, One Love

Was chillin with my buddy (Ill call him J) smokin and shit just got back from a food run when I got a phone call from another buddy (call him K) saying he's at my other friends house (call the other friend A), and that A said he didn't feel good and passed out and started making these weird snorting noises..

Now K doesn't smoke or do any drugs so he called me cause he had no idea what was happening.. All of us (A, K, J, and myself) are pretty close friends and me and friend J know that A does opiates once in awhile but doesnt smoke or drink that much.

Me and J rushed over to A's house to find him turning pale, eyes rolling back, started foaming at the mouth, and was unresponsive to slaps or even snow and water on his head. I immediatly called the ambulance and reported an overdose, possibly of opiates..

When the cops and paramedics got there, A had stopped breathing and was foaming more at the mouth and still unresponsive. The cops and paramedics assumed that me, J, and K were getting fucked up with him all night and that we didn't want to say what he overdosed on to get us in trouble.

I told them all the info I knew. Turns out he did a full 40mg oxymorphone (opana, stronger than oxy) and drank a little cough syrup later cause he was sick. His heart stopped and he stopped breathing when paramedics arrived.

They were able to revive him and now he's ok. But me, J, and K are being blamed for A's overdose and very near-death experience by his family and certain friends.. When really if it wasn't for us and he was alone he would have died and who knows when somebody would find him. We saved his life!! I'm still in shock

You have the right attitude and you did the right thing. You saved your homeboy's life. Stick with the green and you'll be good. Props to you for getting away from that shit. I hope your boy does too.

thanks for the support everybody, now i know why i posted this hear.. wow im stoned/drunk (droned/stunk), i wish i could be young like this forever!! when i was younger still in grading school, i was never one of the kids who said they wish they were older or grown up.. i loved my youth, still do!!
