Why am I posting this?

Because I would like to know if you were a judge once that woman has been found guilty and sane what would you sentence her to?

Woman, 98, indicted in death of 100-year-old nursing home roommate

The suspect and victim were roommates at Brandon Woods Nursing Home in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

(CNN) -- A Massachusetts grand jury has indicted a 98-year-old woman, accused of strangling her 100-year-old nursing home roommate, on a second-degree murder charge.
Prosecutors say Laura Lundquist killed centenarian Elizabeth Barrow, a resident of Brandon Woods Nursing Home in Dartmouth, after the two women had an argument over a table Lundquist had placed at the foot of Barrow's bed.
Barrow was found dead September 24 with a plastic shopping bag tied loosely around her head, according the Bristol County district attorney's office. An autopsy indicated Barrow had been strangled.
Barrow complained that the table obstructed her path to the bathroom, authorities said. When a nurse's aide moved it, Lundquist punched the aide and grumbled that her roommate "might as well have the whole room," prosecutors said.
District Attorney C. Samuel Sutter said Barrow repeatedly complained that Lundquist was making her life "a living hell" in the weeks leading up to the woman's death, and remarked that she would outlive her roommate.
A nursing home spokesman said the facility twice presented Barrow with the chance to change either rooms or roommates, but she declined each time. He compared the pair to "sisters," saying they took "daily walks together ... ate lunch together every day, and were heard at night saying, 'Good night, I love you,' to each other."
Lundquist's attorney, Carl Levin, contends his client was not involved in Barrow's death, saying, "We maintain her innocence."
A superior court judge granted a motion to send Lundquist to a state hospital for a competency evaluation. An arraignment will be held only if Lundquist is found competent to stand trial.

Wrestling Legend Accused of Body

MINNEAPOLIS — During his glory days as a pro wrestler, Verne Gagne shared the spotlight with other burly men in trunks, guys with names like Killer Kowalski, Mad Dog Vachon, The Crusher and Baron Von Raschke.

But all of that seemed well in the past until just weeks ago, when authorities say Gagne, 82 and suffering from Alzheimer's disease, apparently body-slammed a 97-year-old fellow patient at the suburban nursing home where they both lived, causing the man's death.

Definately bring in a Special Prosecutor and go for the death penalty. Have to protect society from these types. We don't want some liberal parole board to release her 30 years from now and do this again.

Yup everybody wants to live forever, they eat healthy, buy safe cars, try to come up with every law they can think of to make people safer and what happens to us when the mind's tired but the body won't give up? We start offing each other in our nursing homes. I don't know about you, but I'm going to go ride my motorcycle at 150 mph down to the steakhouse and eat a 32oz prime rib then when I get home I'm gonna roll a 5 gram joint and smoke it to my head and follow it up with a whole plate of canna cookies.

I ain't going out like THAT !!!

I say that any jail/prison time would be a death sentence so.... put her down.

I seriously doubt she's going to be found 'competent' anyway. So dumb.

This is why you USE your brain when you're young folks. That way, when your brain starts decaying.... it takes a LONG time before you're whacked like these two. People who don't exercise their brains throughout their life end up being able to think a bit slower than vegetables when they're 75-80.
