russian rocket fuel seed run!

i got some russian rocket fuel on the way and some one pointed out they would like to see some pics from me so i thought, why not do my first ic journal and be done with the matter pics to come soon, ive also got some onyx and short stuff number one on the way in the post so i'll most likely bring them into the aquation

12.12.09 update

ok so its been 3 days since i put the seeds into germ 6 have now germ nicely and are in the dirt still waiting for 4 to show tail's

there under 220watts of cfl and remain there untill i sex them! then i will put them under the 400mh with some cheese im vegging .

in two minds if i should start some ss#1 or some onyx to run with them but as its a seed run i cant afford any males i dont want lurking around in there so im not sure just yet.


UPDATE... 10/01/10

ok there now 4 weeks old, i have two distinct phenotypes, and males and females of both pheno's any one know what to look out for with the bush pheno? 2 ( 1 girl 1 boy ) have a very strange looking set of leafs!

UPDATE WEEK8

the seeded girl was the fastest and should be ready by week 10, the other 2 females i have are a small microish pheno and a taller all around larger pheno, they both look to have atleast another month left in them, and are not fantastic producer's, on a brighter note i will have atleast 50 more seeds to play with for future refference from the earlier female and very early male, the male is now almost dead of old age lmfao and looks like total trash right now wilted and crinkly i will put him out of his missery now he has performed his task, but the other female i will not bother pollenating, as they need atleast 14 weeks and are in general no bigger than any other auto, on with the pics

biggest girl, i think she can go another 4 weeks without a doubt this one and the micro type vegged for 5 weeks atleast before really giving in to the call of there flowers

overall they smell very nice, but... they are not what the hype made them out to be so its onto bigger and better ;)

I started with 5 feminized RRF seeds, 3 died due to poor care, of the remaining 2 one was a male! I collected pollen and killed it, and the female is still booming. They will go slow for the first few weeks, then boom, they will shoot up half a foot in a day!

I am using a small cabinet with 145w of 2700k cfls. (600w equivalent) The box is probably 12"x16"x32" im guessing. Im not there right now to actually measure it. I started them off in moist paper towels til they broke shell, then into red 16oz party cups. After a few weeks I cut the bottom of the red cups off and put them into pots made of 1gallon windshield washer fluid jugs that I had painted black. I am using mg soil, so its not the best by any means, and I have not been using any sort of nutes at all. I am not home to actually take care of them, so my father has been tending them for me, and that why the first 3 seeds died. He forgot about them. I pardon old age though, it happens to us all.

I will post a picture of my setup when I get back to them next wednesday if you would like?

hmmm... just checked the little bliters and ive noticed some of them have normal white roots but some of them have a dar dark green/black taproot sprouting... ive certainly never seen this before in my life has anyone else saw this? i wonder if its genetic? maybe a male female thing or even the bush pheno related? all i can do is wait i supposed there germing like normal everyday seeds but the tap roots on 3 of them are very dark indeed!

see thats the thing they look healthy there just dark they dont look infected or rotten though i guess only time will tell eh?

Will do this Wednesday or Thursday, when I get back to my plant. Just got new that the plant is actually outgrowing the cab! Hopefully I have the bushy pheno! Cant wait to get home to check it out!

nice, I always watch seedruns with pleasure.

actually, I've just done my own auto seedrun, got plenty of seeds, it's really worth of space & time :)

good luck bro. Once you have a jar full of seeds you will feel like you own the world. And then the breeding can begin in earnest.

ok i started 3 ss#1 and 2 onyx to run in with them and fill the space up abit..
im gonna remove any males and pollenate some buds on the onyx and short stuff to see how the offspring turn out!...

I just found a random seed in my SS#1... Maybe that Auto-Ak47 I sprayed with GA3 did something...I got to put my detective hat on and get out my magnifier.

It's curing. I happen to pick a piece for sampling with one in it...Didn't even notice until half way through a Vaporizer pack. I can't visually see any more beans... I've spread them open and looked as much as I can but they're pretty dense/dry and need time to cure before I can examine them more closely. I wonder if it was the GA3 or if it's Hermie. So strange...

Gene, Still with us here??? Let's see some progress reports. Hope all is super. I am going to pop the second half of my seed mix from stitch. One last seed run before outside begins. Hoping for the RRF. I am just totally stoked to try all these autos outside.
