Oh my Czech brothers. I think that you are a little ungrateful. What would I give for such a law. Free to grow five Shanti’s Devils on my balcony is just a dream for me here in Slovakia. It's a great law for a modest people who want to grow a few of those mysterious plants on thier balcony or window without fear that someone will see it, fear of denouncement. Now you are free of that fear and you are upset that you can have only 15 grams when you go to a concert or a party??? What a paranoia...Aware that to keep the whole harvest safe and secret is much more easier than keep secret flowering plants. At least for me...

Ungrateful indeed!

Either way, you should be grateful! Because this is a huge step towards further decriminalization. Nothing happens all at once, it happens in steps! And this was a big step! You should be grateful!

It is quite admirable from the "old-fashioned brains" of your politicians, as you call them, to even allow you to grow 5 plants!

You should definitely quit b*tching (you ungrateful spoiled kids) and keep it cool, and who knows, in a couple of years there will be another step towards further decrim!

And yes, decriminalization is exactly that = NOT CRIME (but offense). It is different from legalization.

Peace and all the best!

i know there will be other steps... but it just could be done better (criminalizing cacties is not the good way)

and im fine with this change... i think, that it will make space for some organisations (like social clubs) to take a part... and it will be a good thing

but here comes the bad side of this... cops and courts can charge you (or sentence you) by their own mind, cuz theres too much paradoxes in our drug policy (like the thing with 15grams... youre growin and they can wait till you harvest... what now?)

and there comes another great side of this :) this space can be used to move closer to legalization (with right people saying right things)... so this why we do have kinda mixed feelings about it... (and i cant forgive them that thing with cacties...)

and remember florists and shops which grow cacties for business.

how to say it? its nice to see that something is happening towards
more liberal atmosphere, but maybe we are so paranoid (when we do think about who created this law) that we see something like trap in it. (just for the interest few weeks before our police hq issued an strategic appeal for citizens to give away people who grow mj). understand that this might harm mainly younger growers who are now being so grateful and happy that they can grow 5 plants, but dont realize that they cannot harvest it or hold by themselves more than 15g. it called up so much enthusiasm among growers that im rather scared how it will look next summer. im going to remain hidden anyway.
simply we cant believe that it could be so easy.

So.... how is it, my czech brothers, now after one month after the law?
Can you smoke freely outdoors without fear of the police?
Are there any sorts of coffee shops where you can smoke freely or also maybe buy?
How is the situation "on the streets"?

... if u have OVER 15 grams of marihuana u can go to JAIL maximally for 1 year...

Damn bros! For more than 15 g's? Only 1 year? And that is max?!?! :woohoo:

Remember... somewhere you can go to jail for one year by posessing 1 g.... 2 grams = two years.... 5 grams = 5 years....

And somewhere are even more harsh laws... Think about that!

So if you get caught with more than 15 g's... you go to jail (maybe!) and spent 1 year there (max!) if not even less.... damn!

In your situation... I would say... GROW ON and GROW IT HARD!

Gotta have balls!

Peace

just to be correct...
its up to 6 months, not a year for more that 15g or more than 5 plants...
but as ive said before... it looks better than it is, because its almost decriminalized (not in law but in mind of people and police too) for few years now...

Well my opinion is that this new law that pretends to be decriminalizating will be used agains users. It used to be much paperwork for police to deal with user so they didn't care. Now they can fine you immediately (or much more probably ask for a bribe).
Now that's what I call motivaton :angrymod: The fine can be cca 680 EUR. Looks like our politicians came up with a bright vision of solving economical troubles.
Outdoor growers will probably face the same problems (indoor growers doesn't care).

One more thing. I never saw police going after users before the new law. It's aproximately one month when i saw policeman controling smokers in the park.
