Hey guys.
Excuse me if this has been answered. I searched but all I could find was info on the MG organic choice. Is there a out of the bag Organic soil that does require anything done beside maybe some perlite or simple things done to it. And will allow you to run all the way to harvest with no added nutes needed?

Im gonna run a small grow after the new years after having to tear down the larger one for security reasons and moving. So I was wondering about this as I would like to give organics a go and dont want to get to involved in it the first time around to avoid to many problems. I had to toss out some hempy buckets i had going and cant start anything back up until January so mistakes are not an option as the smoke supply will be getting low.

I will do some more reading and searching but just wanted some direct replies to this. I simply am not sure if there is a comlete soil mix i can buy and use out the bag for the whole grow. Or if organic nute or teas is a must with all soil mixes. Thanks ahead..:eggnog:

Organics is about prep. The better you prepare before th grow the less you work during the grow. Mixing your own soil is the best option. And you have time to let it ripen a bit. So check the stickie and make some lc mix with the nutes mixed in.

pro'mix organic.......the miracle grow is chicken litter and peat, gets real hard when dry and not very absorbent. the promix organic looks just like promix, but has some type of ocean deposit shit and lime thrown in. both need more shit put in them though, the miracle grow needs some perlite as well. what shit you wanna use i guess is up to you worm, bat, cow etc.

sure, I think flower power ( hot soil, so make sure you strain can handle it ) and FFOF. bio canna will not do a flower run, very light no nutes

I have said this before, my brother uses FFOF w/ perlite, and has no issues what so ever, any strain any time, he never feeds, but a tap of seaweed if he can fit it in. he's run many many strains and all handle it very well.

I see by your post you don't want to mess around. Don't make your own soil if you don't want to, no pressure. it's all about having fun isn't it ?

EDIT: just saw you mean whole grow. if you want, do 1-2 gallon for veg, should get you pretty good through veg without bottled or dry nute with FFOF, and then transplant into bigger pots for flower. I don't think my brother uses nutes in veg, he has earth juice but don't think he uses them ever.. so, yeah your most likely gonna need to pick up some bottled nutes just incase. if so work out slow adding 1-2 ml a gallon, then work your way up how the plant needs it if at all

I put some mature vegged ssh in ffof cut with coco and they got super burnt not to mention a nice case of nitrogen overdose. I have also heard of others having problems with it but mainly with seedlings or clones.

I cant say for sure but I bet this mix could get you just about all the way thru the flowering period with minimal effort. I just started using the fox farm trio, 1/3 ocean forest, 1/3 light warrior, 1/3 planting mix. It has just about everything you could want or need in an organic mix and I must say it is some of the richest soil I have ever seen. Add 7-8 tbls dolomite lime and your in business. At the very most I predict this soil mix would require little more then a spoon here and there along the base of the plant and water as usual, doesnt get much easier then that.

I am using this mix now and have some of the most healthy happy plants I have ever had after years of growing with very little effort.

its not in a bag but check around your local landscaping places, sometimes they have pre made soil mixes. around here they have one that is called "super soil" its actually not half bad and will definitely do a full grow. its 30$ for a yard. which is A LOT more than you would get in bags for 30$.

There are reasonable mixes from stores. I would avoid Chicken Litter mixes such as MG OC.. They told me they don't recommend their product for medical cannabis. Honest!

So really organic soil is about living things eating and pooping so to speak..

Starting with a bag of cooco/peat and adding stuff then composting is probably the ideal way to start a soil in my opinion.

But no, no off the shelf is going to last 100% of growing quality plants IMO..

Can your grow a plant yes.. Like we all hope they will grow? No not in my opinion.. Feeding the soil is how I provide nutrients and that takes time but pays off in spades so to speak.

I've tried many of the best, but not all. None have made it past the stretch. The flowering stretch is THE WALL that premixed bags can't make it past, in my experience.

I think I am gonna give this a try. I didnt mean to sound completely lazy in the first post. I can give nutes when needed. But was just wondering which soil would decrease the work that had to be done. Simply for convienece reasons. Thanks for all the help and replies guys. Its appreciated.. stay high.:eggnog:

My soil is over 8 years old..

I have fed that azomite, all the trace and NPK stuff and many exotic materials.

I'd put it up against another soil for a completed seed to harvest grow challenge where I didn't do anything but I'd be wondering how it would turn out.

The idea is to feed the soil so the work is a given. Top dressing to feed microbes is a great way to keep the nutrient cycle going for use after use after use of your soil.

Like I said 8+ years.. Last med grow is in the signature link.

Organic Soil isn't a one time use item IMO.. Never was..
