Okay I was talking with friends about brick weed everyone has bought it at one time or anothe but we were talking about things we found in ti and it gave me an idea for a campaign to show parents a side of regulation they may not now will be of great benefit.

You see over the years as we have bought brick weed we have found things from a dried up dead fruit bat, bananna peel's ,cock roaches, metal filings and a strange powder we couldnt identify but we thru out the pot once we noticed it dont know if we smoked any or not but anyways the point is to do a cencus.
I want to do a census of all the differnet contaminents ound in brick weed and if we can get the age you were when you found it , if you know someone who is younger have them email you what it was and post what they said the idea is to show how many dangerous and disease ridenand psssible deadly things find there way into brick weed because of no regulation on how its produced anyone who comes near it could get very sick or posibbly die from posionig but under regulation not only will it be more difficult for minor to obtain because it will require id even if they did manage to get it like they do alcohol at least parent could sleep esier knowing its not tamperd with and the same adults use but at least it wont have anyting in it that can hurt them really bad. I know it is a type of scare advertising but I feel its a scare many people need to know about as there are a lot of unscrupulous people who dont care what happens to the people that buy there product.

But thru regulation the cannabis will have to be quality controled the same as alcohol to make sure it has no harmful contaminents init. I know a lot of parents will take notice when they see things like dead animals inthe pot there kids could get rbies or some other nasty disease or parisite.
So please post any infro about wierd finding in brick weed i will collect it all and arrange it into a neat cencus and then write up a well wordd argument for regulation and legalization and the show how it will less the availability o cannabis to minr but how it will protect them if they do get cannabis from dangerous contaminents like what we find/

So post your finding if you have everfound anything wierd or disgusting or even dangerous or unkown in brickweed or any weed for that matter.

I actually found a rusty ol' razorblade in a brick before. Must have been in a boxcutter they were using or something, came out of the handle and fell into the brick at some point. It didn't cut anybody, but that nasty, rusty razorblade could have dished out a fierce cut with a side of tetanus.
At the time I was 16.

ive never found anything dangerous...only the occasion chunk o' soil...rocks...chunks of other plants native to mexico...couple bugs....no fruit bats....LOL

Hair and a piece of xmas tinsel....nothing as unique and exotic as a fruitbat corpse. That would prolly scared me from smoking anything ever again. I also had some brick bud that smelled like it was soaked in deisel fuel.

Under regulation? Are you nuts? Let the government regulate pot safety and weed will be 50% paraquat.

^the government shouldn't regulate it. A separate system like the wine system in france, or italy should be created to do so.

I have found some stupid shit in brick weed before. I found a ripped up old t-shirt. I have found small hunks of glue. Bugs. never any dead bats though.

Agreed. A more mature version of what is happening in Colorado would work fine. Individual growers/distributors choosing to test their product for cannaboids and contaminants. Those that choose not to might see financial consequences for their business once people begin to prefer the security of a tested product. And this would be based on individual choices, market forces, and in the end patients/buyers would decide with their wallets.

Turn it into a government regulated quality-checking system and you'll need to wait 5 years and 5 billion dollars later before it could be used, and even then you have a product that is being approved by the government and not people in the cannabis community.

I'm all for community organizations or guilds developing guidelines and standards and letting businesses choose if they're in and patients choose if they want tested or guild-approved product or not. that's my two...
