A store near me just started carrying the line.

I've heard good things but am looking for some opinions from you folks.

Please share your experience and thoughts.

Cheers and thanks.

Yes i have just bought myself some Multi Zyme and Bud XL then next week or week after will get Shooting Tabs.

Was gonna use PK 13/14 but chose Hammerhead instead, if i like what i see i will buy the whole range. The Root Stimulator is wicked too! Not Exelurator i haven't used that just yet

I dont know anything, but iv used house and garden and botanicare pure blend pro, and house and garden works a lot better for me.

the guy at my hydro shop says...

the following is all hearsay:

When I asked about coco nutes, between the Canna brand and House&Garden, the guy at my hydro shop said the base nutes produce similar results. Canna provides consistant results throughout the lifecycle of the plant, while H&G suffers during veg and early flower, then making up the difference during peak flower.

The full Canna line consists of less products, while Van de Zwaan's H&G has superior additives, most significantly the "Shooting Powder".

In the end he recommended I mix and match to meet my own needs.

Again, he could just be trying to sell me something.

I've used the enitre Canna line and the H&G line. Both are very good products granting you follow instructions and are not a meathead lol!

I never saw any type of growth suffer during vegetative growth nor during the flowering phase using the H&G. I think the people who have used both would say the same as well. Reason I switched from Canna to H&G because overall for me its cheaper to run per grow then the Canna line.

Bottom line is you won't be dissapointed with either nute line, plenty of people on here use both...sometimes they pick and choose from both lines like DarkLance stated. Also taking time to learn how to dial in either nute line will also increase the quality and quantity of harvest. Don't underestimate experience.

i use 30ml of the a and b of h&g in my coco plants and never had a def; keep my moms on it they look great... have used canna as well; like h&g better... don't like the shooting powder though; i use different pk boosters; i also don't care for the magic green foliar; there are a lot of better products out there i'd rather spray my plants with

i also use the h&g aqua in rockwool; no problems and is pretty clean in the reservoir on a recirculating system

I've used Hydro A & B plus their full lineup of additives. I've used Aqua flakes A & B pluse their full lineup of additives.

I am now doing a organic grow using their Bio 1 Component.

If you can follow instructions fine. If you can't, or try shortcuts, don't bother. I've found that when mixing, do what told. Mix A throughly and let stand. Then add B. Mix throughly and let stand. Then PH. Allowing the mixing and standing of the nutes adds ph stability IMO (at least I found this to be true).

Also, bring the cal-mag from the beginning, at least in my strains.

H&G makes my plants so healthy. Its my first chemical nutrient so i cant compare. It blows my guano teas away. I run cocos A&B, multizyme, bud xxl, top booster, and shooting powder. Heavy flowering was started faster with my teas but once H&G caught up the organic plants were left in the dust. Shooting powder is great but a little pricey. 11bucks every time i make a rez.

do not use their "blad voeding" or "leaf strengthener" on young plants, NOT EVEN DILLUTED - it burns the shit out of them... I threw it in the bin after one use..

I do use H&Gs top booster (pk13/14) and Bud XL (carboload) though with great results :) .. I been looking at shooting powder but I need to hear more good thngs before commiting - Coz "yes, it is a little pricey" :)

Besides the above I use Canna products for the most part (Coco A+B, Rhizo, Zym) but I also use GHE Ripen in the last 2 weeks :)

I am planning on giving the House & Garden cocos a&b a try in coco w/ autopots. Do you guys use their nutrient calculator or do you have your own regimen? Do you use the "normal" or "aggressive" chart?

Tried the Aqua Flakes A&B side by side with PBP Pro.
The PBPs were lush and the Aqua flat.

Next the Aqua was added to PBP plants in flower and it helped some.
Was hoping for a clean two part it the Aqua may be one of the best and that was without the additives.

Top Booster claims to cause an optical drought.
Could some extra PK just before a res change and lights off do the same thing?

I use the normal not a deficiency in sight. Big buds. I never went past 8ml per gallon of the a & b the feed chart puts it a little higher at mid flowering. I run hard water so 10ml per gallon would skyrocket my ppm. at the end with 7.5 ml a&b bud xxl and shooting powder i was sitting at about 1.8 to 2.0

i've been told good things from quite a few growers i know in real life who are using the shooting powder as an additive, even some who don't use the H&G line otherwise.

i myself have no experience with H&G
