Neptune's Harvest Liquid Organic Fertilizer

Stumbled across info since im going to use it here soon. I heard it works really well .. for those who want to see :)

Neptune's Harvest fish hydrolysate is an all organic, highly nutritional protein fertilizer, made utilizing naturally occurring enzymes present in fresh North Atlantic fish. It's produce using a cold process employing enzymes (natural biological catalysts) which break down fish, or fish frames (the part left after the fillet is removed for human consumption)
to simpler protein complexes. This process is called Hydrolysis.

No synthetic materials are mixed into the fish hydrolysate, and the only manipulation the product undergoes is grinding and hydrolysis. This process yields a stable, non-odorous, liquid fertilizer that is an easy to use, safe product. The nitrogen in Neptune's Harvest fish fertilizer is derived from fish protein in the form of amino acids which when added to the soil, slowly break down into basic nitrogen compounds. While a percentage of nitrogen becomes soluble due to the nature of the manufacturing process, no inorganic nitrogen has been added.

In the past, there have been advantages in using manufactured chemical fertilizers, however as we now realize, this has been at the expense of the environment and depletion of many soil elements.
The continued application of only concentrated chemicals on the soil have reduced much of the biological life that contributes to the efficient utilization of many plant nutrients.

Neptune's Harvest hydrolyzed fish does no biological damage to the soil and will promote the growth of beneficial bacteria making the soil less compact and better able to drain, yet hold moisture better for future plant use as it is needed. With our cold process, the vitamins, amino acids, enzymes, and growth hormones are not damaged or destroyed. Because no oils or proteins are removed, the nutrients remain in the soil longer, and lower N-P-K rates
can be used to meet or exceed the results obtained by chemicals with much higher rates. Some advantages to using hydrolyzed fish fertilizer are that it rebuilds soil, gives excellent plant growth with increased yields, and is made from a renewable aquatic resource. This hydrolysate fertilizer is filtered through an 80 mesh screen as a first step, and then through a 200 micron screen before it is packaged. This ensures an ease of application with most irrigation sprayer systems that is second to none.

Beware of imitations. Neptune's Harvest is the leading manufacturer of fish hydrolysate fertilizers in the United States with extensive sales in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Neptune's Harvest FISH
2-4-1
Neptune's Harvest fish is an organic fertilizer made from fresh North Atlantic fish. It is made by a unique cold process that protects the vitamins, amino acids, enzymes and growth
hormones. It also contains all the micro and macro nutrients naturally found in fish. The nitrogen and other nutrients are chelated, so they are readily available for plants consumption. Unlike fish emulsions, Neptune's Harvest retains the fish proteins and oils and has no unpleasant odor. University studies have shown Neptune's Harvest to outperform chemical fertilizers.

Thanks for the info, I would assume you use it during early flowering? Also, I think the people in the organic section would appreciate it more.

I put it in the growers section for everyone :)

I'll be mostly using it in Veg, I was tipd to not use it in flower because of the nasty taste it can leave behind, people use it in flower thou.. so personal preference I'd guess. I'll try it 2-3weeks into flower and see how it goes for myself. I'm about 1 week in on some flowering plants atm and I just fed em some.

Eitherway the label says use every 2-3weeks at 1 tablespoon per gallon...

Proper feeding, flush,or a clearing solution should control any negative factors from any nutrient. I've never know it to be any other way. Im new thou

I got this for overall improved growth and health.

Flower specific I get a bloom booster and grandma's molasses(or carbohydrates) to add.

I wonder if the people who gave you that advice actually used this product? There's nothing wrong with using Neptunes Harvest in bloom and in fact it brings forth frosty, tasty, aromatic buds. Enjoy.

Hello all,

I am pretty sure that the buds will not take on a fish taste. While I do not know what bat shit or worm shit taste like, but the flavors in my buds are very tasty indeed. And the teas I use smell foul also but never have the buds tasted like the teas smelled.

I use Alaska Brand 5-1-1 & Neptune’s Harvest 2-3-1.
Much easier to get than PBP and the plants are just as happy! ...maybe more happy? I know I am!
:joint:

In veg, 7 ml/gal of each for the first couple of weeks. Then 15 ml/gal of each for rest of veg.
In bloom, 15 ml/gal of each for the first couple of weeks. Then 30 ml/gl for the rest of bloom.
I give plain water for the last 2 weeks.

Just stumbled on this thread. I've been looking at Neptune's Harvest Fish/Seaweed fertilizer at a local store. This fertilizer is 2-3-1.

I believe this is a combination of their straight 2-4-1 fish emulsions with their kelp fertilizer.

I'm hoping to use this fertilizer for my bloom fertilizer on my organic grow. This runs $4.99 at a local nursery for a 32 ounce bottle. Anyone know if this 2-3-1 fertilizer would work well for my garden in bloom?

Here's the description. Not that it tells anything that useful.

"Neptune's Harvest Organic Fish/Seaweed Blend Fertilizer gives you the best of both products with a perfect blend of fish hydrolysate and seaweed, ensuring a complete fertilization program. Growers using our fish/seaweed blend fertilizer on a regular basis have reported increased marketableyields and improved shelf life on fruits and vegetables. Fish and Seaweed are known to build the natural sugar in plants. Flowers and foliage will be stronger and more colorful. Blooms will be more plentiful, fragrant and longer lasting."

Thanks

i go with the harvest 2-3-1 throught the grow...dilluted 1/2 strength on seedlings and full strength or a lill more than full strength on my outdoor plants in the ground....full strength if in pots/buckets. i use it every watering that i need to water outdoors. obv depends on rain and whatnot. i also amend my soil (promix) b4 planting with bloood, bone, lime, manure.

in my opinion its damn good stuff and have never had a problem using it. no adverse effects on the plants and they seem to luv it. smoke taste = great but i do flush with str8 water the last 2 weeks. its pretty cheap too

only bad thing is the smell....WHOOOO does it stank!

Thanks for the advise Stalldaworld. I picked up a bottle of the 2-3-1 Neptune's Harvest fish/seaweed today.

I'll probably use this as my only flowering nute on my girls. If I get a chance I'll topdress a little high P bat guano into my mix since I think I'd like just a little more P than 2-3-1.
