That will do. I'd recommend flowering the male elsewhere, collecting pollen and then apply by hand to a stem or two of a single female. This stem alone delivered well over 100 seeds ...

When male shows balls in clusters, remove from the garden, cut off a stem and place in a glass of water over a smooth surface (glass, china, etc) Toss the male. Balls will continue to develop into flowers that dump pollen on the glass.

can u explain a little more.. i might be too stoned to comprehend haha

cut a stem off (so the male will continue to release pollen when their are no roots?) and do i wait untill the pollen sacks are about to pop and open them and touch them with a q-tip then run it on a female?
or waituntill the pollen falls onto the glass and i will see it and then i can have fun ?

The stem cut from the male will, when kept in water, continue to mature and release pollen. Cut/place stem so that male buds hang over the side of the glass as water kills pollen. Gravity sucks, pollen falls (that's why we want the smooth clean surface so it's easy to collect) Pollen is painted on individual female flowers with q-tips or paintbrush.

Some say spray the plant with water some time later to kill any excess stray pollen but, I don't know the timetable on that. I paint a corner in the back so that playing in the front of the garden I don't spread loose pollen around.

sounds easy enoughh

thanks a lot

I just pollinated a super skunk female with pollen from a hermie mango strain, reason I used a hermie instead of a straight male is because I read that this will produce feminised seeds and not hermie seeds.

when you see those bananas/balls forming on the male just wait till they get a lil bigger then pinch the ball off the plant , you dont have to wait for the flower to open as the pollen is inside and still is active .. then carefully open the banana/ball at the end and hold your finger out and tap the flower and you will see a white/yellow powder come out ... take that powder and touch a lower branch with white pistils on it ... then in 30days a seed will be ready to pick from there.

as the seed grows the white hair turns brown and falls away really fast then you will see swelling and a seed forms & it goes from a white to tan to brown to black ..picking when they are brown or black is best.Having a male plant next a female when in flower is VERY BAD you will get so many seeds the buds be hardly smokable as when the male opens its flowers explode with pollen that goes everywhere.

I have a few super mango skunk seeds to sprout now :)

Define hermie. Are you talking a single male flower on a 20 foot tree or a 50/50? With the former, say 2-3 seeds in a lb of weed, the odds may be in your favor. Using a full blown hermie for pollen drastically lowers the odds of a pure female.

What about a male hermi?

What about a male hermi?

I just finished c99 x blueberry and used a male to pollinate but male started throwin out pistils on the top with new growth. Got about 75 seeds and wondering if they will all hermi? I believe the male hermied because of inconsistant light schedule. Anyone got any ideas?
