question reguarding DWC buckets

For now ive been running my lights 24 hours n the air pump has been on 24 hrs with it but now that im ready for 12/12 does that air pmp also run 12/12 or do i leave that on at all times

In DWC you have to run your air pumps 24/7 or your roots will drown.

Plants can easily survive a 12 hour period without an air pump. Power outages have proved that the hard way. But what a plant will survive and what's good for it are two different things.
