Any Top Gear fans on here?

Hey UK, I am a Yank but I get to watch some of your great shows on BBC America. Top Gear is one of my favorite shows. Very entertaining, hilarious and some amazing cars. It is great to find out which super car gets the best mileage. Or how much abuse a toyota pick up can withstand. I hear it is very popular in UK. Some of my other favorite shows from the UK are Ideal with Johnny Vegas, anything with Gordon Ramsey, and obviously the Office. You guys crank out the goods. What are some other good UK shows I should look for? I just watched the first Top Gear where they tried to make amphibious cars. Great stuff.

Top Gear is one of my favorite shows on television. The amphibious-auto challenges were awesome, especially crossing the English Channel on a Toyota pickup.

Yeah I can't believe that actually worked. Those waves were huge. I really want to try to build something like that. I would probably test it on a pond first not the english channel. I just saw the new one where they came to the US to drive some of our cars. They were not allowed to be entertaining because there visas did not allow it. They had to be very factual. Hilarious. They actually liked our cars for once too which I am not even a fan of.

there are a couple of american episodes, was the one you saw the one where they buy a car for a $1,000 dollars and get chased by rednecks, it's the episode with the cow on the roof?

watch the north pole one! they race there and hammond goes on a dog sled

also watch a BBC series called 'the thick of it' very funny

If you like Johnny Vegas then Benidorm is a pissa although it is on ITV......you might get it on the net

Old one - Auf Wiedershen Pet.....watched the whole lot back to back. Best show ever on British TV.

The Gadget show is another good one, kind of Top Gear For Technology. Its on Channel 5 though so you might struggle to find it.

it depends what your are into really mate, i love watching Ray mears when I'm stoned & straight actually.

He is a survival expert who teaches the SAS. He goes around the world showing the bush craft skills of that region and the people that have these skill's. I have picked up some pretty cool stuff from him....

Peep Show is funniest thing ive watched in ages if you like comedy. Alan Partridge is also great if you haven't seen it. Oh and of course there's Extras if you liked The Office, very funny too.

Benidorm is hilarious,very surprised the americans like Gordon f***ing Ramsay,I have a few mates exactly like him every second word is indeed the F-word,Easthead the north-pole Top Gear was awesome.

Fantastic show.

I am a big car guy, and Top Gear is by far the best car show out. The new season is great.

Loved the Zr1 getting a slower power lap than the GT-R!

I just watched the one where they drive through Alabama with their cars painted with "Country and western is rubbish" "Nascar sucks" "Man love is good". That was hilarious. They are so lucky those hicks didn't kick their asses. Such a good show.

..Top Gear's the only thing i watch on terrestrial TV!!!
You can watch the episodes on BBC iPlayer.
Other things to look out for are 'Q.I' ,8 out of 10 cats and Mock the Week.
Some bad British teeth going on in the lot of 'em.

did yall hear what they said about the bugati vs the last "worlds fastest car" ?
I think they said you could let the mclaren f2 get to 120mph before taking off in the bugati and you would overtake and pass the f2 before 200mph......

Top Gear is great, last night they showed them going across south america in old cars, it was incredible, when Hammond had bugs flying in the car he was FREAKING OUT!!! It was really hilarious

I remember James May once saying on Top Gear - 'id much rather have a joint at home watching the telly'
Then suddenly realized he just said that on tv!

My mate walked into the toilet in a restaurant & Gordon Ramsay was in there, the first thing he said was "put that fucking camera phone away!"
