How many plants will fit?

Hey all just finished my grow room , converted an old bathroom into a dedicated grow room but not sure how many plants I can fit in the space I have as I have never grown indoors so need some input as to what would be the most I should grow Ill tell ya what my setup is please any suggestions as to how many of either indica or sativa I should grow in this space .

My grow area Is 5 x 6 x 6h under 1000w mh switchable to hps
the room presently remains at 74 with lights on and drops to 65 when the lights go out. So how many indicas should I put in here or sativas please?

Ack sorry was going to grow in soil probably promix bx or sunshine mix 2 or 4 havent decided will depend on which is available for the best price. My licence allows me 25 plants maximum here in canada they make no distinction between mature and seedlings. What I planned is to figure out what would be max I could grow in this area under a 1k was planning on 6 week veg before flower on the first grow then afterwards will keep aside 2 mothers for cuttings and will only veg 30-45 days afterwards. Do you think this space could hold 20 plants grown with this much veg ?

I have 15 in a space very close to that under a 600 and they do great. just like Vegan said, I do 2g perfect pots, 2 weeks veg. Come out with 3' tall two ouncers.

Eh, idk man. That's 1.4g per watt which sounds too good to be true. Just saying. Even 1g per watt is hard to achieve, even with strains that are good yielders.

Depends on how long you want to veg for, the pot size, your expectation? pound per thousand watt is my standard. so if you only wanted to veg for 3 weeks to a month, stick a dozen in there. if you want to veg longer youll need less plants. if you wanted to veg for a shorter period youll need more plants. could do 80 in beer cups and only have to veg for a week or two. all comes down to your situation and how many plants your willing to get popped with.

Hi y'all !

I'm wondering how could I get 12 plants in a room that's
width: 70cm(2.2feetish)
deep: 50cm(1.6feetish)
height: 130cm(4.2feetish)
Room only this big because my wife. Finally got permission to cultivate, but it has to remain discreet
And all of the 12 plants should be in cabinet and in preflowering stage... I'll explain this more carefully.

I'm only asking this because I'd like to grow mandalas satori and speed queen at the same time.
If this grow starts in 2010, I was going to have 12 seeds growing(6 each strain). And after identifying males/females I would get rid of males, and hopefully have 6 females that would go into final pots and flowering in previously mentioned space. I'm confident that 6 females would be ok in available space because both strains are fairly small and slim (SOG).

The problem lies here, I dont like the idea of having 12 plants in 1liter(0.2gal) and serving them 12/12 light to identify sex. These twelve 1liter containers would fit in cabinet, but is'nt 1liter too small for even 1or2 weeks veg. Not to mention prefolwering to identifying? Container size 4-8liters(aprox. 1-2gal) should be ideal, and as final flowering pot will be using 11 liters(aprox 3gal)
I could go with just few plants and then have one mother and take 8 clones (2 extras just in case). But theres allways time question. Growing from seeds would be quicker than having to take clones. Time is issue because I'll be living in this town till June.
Growing starts in middle of January and has to end in middle of June (preferably in May).

Just say so if I'm reaching too far with having mandala seeds (damn would be nice if could get feminized mandalas)

Satori and speed queen cause growed safari mix from mandala in last summer and plants were perfecto! and same goes for the smoke.

And if you think I should go with different strains (feminized) could you recommend me some nice small to medium plants with powerful indica and sativa high and a good yield. I'm demanding on my smokes quality/potency.

Ps: Greenhouse seeds seems like quality stuff, opinions?

Yeah, that is pretty optimistic. I have many extra babies this run. Usually I will just run 8 in this space, but I did VERY well with my male to fem ratio, and I always account for some losses with a few extra beans. So far I am cursed on this grow, everything is growing fucking great!! No losses and culled two males out of 12 regular seeds, the rest were fems, go figure.

The good thing is they should be staggered a bit. My Whiteberry and KingsKush should be done around 55-60 or so days (fingers crossed) and the WR and AK should fall around 70, so in theory I may make room for the last two weeks for my Serious gear. If not I may cull a couple (KK more than likely)..... yeah bro this one is new territory for me. I was planning on maybe 12 making it tops, and counting on 10, but all is well.

I also did not top anything this run, I am hoping for the best here. But with 8 under a 600 I normally pull right around 2z per, some a bit better some a bit less, nothing is precise when it comes out of the dirt. Also running the Botanicare pro trio this run, they have never looked better. I will update in a few weeks and see how the numbers pan out.

I say 5 plants triggered at 3 weeks from planting the clone one a half idica half sativa. 1 week with sativa. Just my guess. oh ya, 3.5 gallon pots of promix.
