im going to guess that it wont scrub the smell. just guessing tho.

They do have carbon in them (broke one open to check) plus some other stuffs - and personal use tells me they'll take out most smells (when ya wear one - ya can't smell anything; even high levels of h2s or chlorine) Partly why I'm thinking of using them, they should scrub even more than carbon ever could...

This fridge wont have that much headroom by the time I stuff everything in there - starting to think I might have to live with 1'10" vertical for flowering (might be time to go re-read dr bud's thread...).

Is there a general guideline for ventilation? Mostly wondering how many CFM I need to turn over. Picked up my 'ductwork' today - but had to settle for a smaller cross section than I was originally thinking; wondering if I need to double it up or if it'll be adequate...

If the following link isn't aquaculture (sans the fish), there is no such thing! Definitely something to consider. Just add fish, stir, and harvest!

Ok, now really behind the 8ball... 4 lil plants have popped up...

Setting a 2x55w into the fridge with a heater in the fish tank - lets see what she does overnight - will need to get them into a grow space PDQ

Well it's nice to know it was the bagseed that was fawked, not my popping technique the last few times... Was really starting to wonder there...

Figure I should update the thread

First four... Met an unfortunate end... So we popped some more and revised our technique...

Got some massive stretch on 5 - 6th just peeked its head up friday (and hasn't cleared the dirt- yet has 6 sets of leaves); one started to look like it was having a N deficiency - so threw together a very basic aquaponics system to get some nutes on it asap.

5g aquarium, 2x65w coralife PL-L (running 4100k 55w philips bulbs) on an 18/6 cycle, 1qt sump, thats just a little jebo HOB filter I had lying around (media out of another tank). Aqualifter pump on a 20 on 40 off. 3 little ameca splendens in the sump. Basically a tiny ebb/flow system Peat as a grow media. pH this morning 6.6, Been running the NO3 levels up with KNO3 for now; started at 20ppm - brought her up to 100ppm yesterday (accident but - the plants REALLY seem to like it). Small 5v laptop cooling fan duct taped on for some air flow.

Figure this will get them through veg - gotta get going on the fridge - but those wimmens overspend on xmas and funds aren't allowing at the moment...
