kief boxes

winter break is comming up shortly and ive been toying with the idea of making a kief box of my own from purple heat.

im hopeing that some of you good people have some really intreasting and creative looking boxes and would be willing to post pictures of them to give me some ideas.

This guy Jay that makes them used to tour with the dead as a roadie. He has made boxes for Phil Lesh, Bob Weir and many others. His tables are out of this world.

The good ol craftsman CompuCarve will do wonders on box tops. Just set up the image and parameters and presto, bad ass designs in no time.

wheres the fun in that. i prefer a scrollsaw because of the inperfections that arise.

Your right. Using a scroll saw to make a box would lead to a lot of imperfections. You could a compucarve to mill out an intricate box tops and then work on your joinery yourself to set it off nicely. That is what I meant.
