Does anyone leave tree in Krusty bucket to dry?

I was thinking of flushing with clean water for the last few days. Then drain the reservoir, turn off the lights and trim off all the big leaves. Then let the plant die and naturally dry over the next week or so. Has anyone ever done this? Anything potentially harmful/decrease in potency?

I don't know about the long, intentional method, but the short accidental method appears to boost resin production. It definitely boosts the look. That's if you accidentally let it dry. Lights on, etc for about a day or two. Any more time you'll have dust.

I think that would cause an increase in bug infestation. And thats never good.
