Did a search and cant find any info...

Does anyone know if its doable. I would imagine that one would run it at 5/10 or 6/12 and not 8/16.

can I get some opinions or exp please. I personaly dont like rockwool but I know someone who wants to run HD sog w/ 4" cubes and a 400watt light. (the method described by the Dr)

It will work but, keep an eye on the surface for salt buildup. To the inexperienced it appears to be white mold. When it shows, you can scrape it off or simply top feed with pH adjusted water for a few days before returning to the regular feeding program.

Under a 400, I'd consider 6 inch cubes unless you're trying to restrict growth.

what up freeze!

Yah, the whole HDsog is packing a shit ton of 4" cubed rw cubes in a tray and shoot for 7g each 10g each if your lucky. high plant count but numbers that make you :xmasnut: do the math, it adds up.

just wonder if Lucas Ratio is safe for RW cubes.

Sure it's safe. 5-10 or 8-16 is largely dependent on lamp size. Smaller lamps use lighter formula. When I was young and stupid (pre IC days) I actually fed rockwool at a rate of 0-15-45 (not a typo 0-15-45!!!) pH controlled with vinegar for cryin' out loud.

you dont think that salt or N will build up fast if 8/16

ha how did your plants do with all that in rw?

Wait...What?

You can go even stronger than 0/8/16 if you reduce the frequency and duration of the fertigation cycle

top drip is far and away the most tune-able method.
