Homebox s Vantilation(Solar&Palau)

Hi dudes.After 2 micro grow I decided moving next step and using a 400watt.So I bought homebox small and osram plantastar 400 watt w/cooltube.There is one thing left to consider.I read too many good things about solar&palau fans.I checked products and I think 3 of them can do the job I need.But I have to tell you this I need really quiet fan so I m gonna use the fan with a dimmer.

Prices are not so diffrent.They are about same.

SOLAR PALAU TD 500/150= 580 m3/h --at half speed probably 300 m3/h.(this s plastic one)


SOLAR PALAU TD 800/200 N=880 m3/h--at half speed I dont know.(this is metal one)


SOLAR PALAU TD 800/200:1100 m3/h--at half speed I dont know.(this is metal too).

I want you to think that stealth is the most importent thing That I have to think about.Please while giving answer consider it. Bcause I m gonna use the system at nighst so neighbours or the folks that live in the house shouldnt hear anythink at all.

S&P fans are quieter, but they still ain't exactly quiet.

Let me explain my issue.The fan I used before was like fucking jet engine.It was really hard to sit in the same room while it was running.I m looking for bearable sound levels at least.Like you said these fans are quiter.And I m gonna use as big as I can also use with dimmer so sound level should be pretty much berable.But I m not sure that is why I started this topic so you can help me about my concerns)

If you only run the fans at night, the house will reek of weed during the day. Without the fan running, there's no negative pressure to control the smell.

I love my S&P but, no fan is silent and S&P does NOT suck like a Vortex. Whatever one you think you "need" get the next one up if not two up. If you run a speed control, go three-four models up.

No matter what you do, you will still need to supply a patsy, misdirection or locks. Example, people can hear my freezer but, freezers are supposed to make noise. Show them the noise and the noise disappears. Box fans, aquariums, computer servers can be placed close to the grow or, lock the doors.

S&P rocks man! I have been using 2x TD 160/100 Silent w/dimmer in a similar setup, 400w hps in diy cab and it worked great. Cab was made in a closet in my bedroom, and my gf had no prob sleeping in there. They've been running for a year now with no problems

Thanks guys for your help.Aspecially freezerboy was very herlpful.I got highend computer in my room so It should do the jop )Maybe later I might add an aquarium too if noise much more than I expected.
Conclusion 800/200 works at half speed not too noisy and cool a 400 watt well ?And this model is strong I never used a fan like this before.Negative pressure would be a problem for homebox s?One more question is there any db chart for s&p fans??
