ice hash, 25 or 38 micron bag

I have a 220 micron screen that I can use as a filter bag. Now I need just one bag to catch the glands. Would you recommend a 38 or a 25 micron bag? Are the trichomes smaller than 38 micron worth it? Anyone smoked the trichs that are smaller than 38 micron?
Any thoughts are apreciated!

I usually end up with quite a bit in my 25 micron bag, and it's nice quality, so I would say 25... imo.

i would get a 73 also because somtimes you get alot in the 73 and small amount in the 25 and vise virsa
it just depends on the bud you use

Yes, I don't want to buy a whole set (money) because I already have a 220 micron screen and just need a fine bag to collect te crystals. The hash will be the same purity as when using a set of bubble bags, just all trichome-head sizes will be together instead of seperated. Not sure why having hash of different thrich-sizes would be better than all sizes together.

I found the following text for a 38 micron ice-o-lator bag:
38 mc will catch the finest glands where the ratio cellulose vs. active ingredients is still worth it.
Just wondering if the above is true or if the glands between 38 and 25 micron are worth collecting?

I can't answer the question on 38 vs 25, but my 25 bag does collect a lot of sativa trichs. My bags run from 73 then down to 25. Been running a lot of Nigerian, and the 25 is quality.

Hi i would get a 120 as well so the hash wont be too contaminated with plant matter. Go for 25 micron

Well let me tell ya then. You see first of all in those kits there is a 190 and 160 bag. These are called cleaning bags and remove a lot of the contaminant. Second by spreading all the hash across all the screens none of them becomes overloaded. Once the screen is covered the system is less efficient. Last with the rest of the bags holding hash, even if you use only one type of weed you have at least 4 different buzzes within the bags. Good luck , I guess its a question of quality over quantity. i would go with 220, 160 and 45 if youre not going to use all the bags.. maybe even then 90 too..

as people have stated.. you need 120 micron also to catch all the plant shit that i usually toss out. not worth smoking.

I started by grading them all separately, "grade a", "grade b", and "grade c", but my partner (who is the Sales and Marketing department of our operation) just put them all together anyway. Broke my heart, but hey, he's the one getting rid of it.

To purpose for all the bags is to separate the different sizes to isolate the ones that are full melt.

The bags I smoke are mainly 120,90,73, I give away the 45 almost always and dont even bother with the 25 bag at all. Ive had the 160 bubble and be very good with very mature outdoor and large trichs ... tried many a 25u bag and dont even feel its worth the drain time. If you dont understand why we seperate all the sizes ... I would say try it and it wont take you long to understand.
