tis really sad news. however no more sad than every other grower that is caught... just more eye opening to whom is being caught and labeled a terrorist.

do you guys think she'll really lose her home? that seems so unfair since its bought and paid for...and from what the article says, she's only been doing it for a few years....ya know when the economy tanked.
i think its criminal to lose everything you own, go to prision, lose your livelihood for growing a fukin plant that should be as legal as a tomatoe!

i think that's what they do with posessions linked with crime, since theyre being used, they get taken:/

maybe others could chime in, it DOES seem very unfair if truth

the butthole surfers, as you say, probably didn't know what mylar is and jsut thought it was foil.

And about the tip, she didn't have to tell anyone. She coulda been tailed from selling it.. all it takes. The cops then look up all her info and start putting it all together so they can have a damn case.

It's best not to sell while residing in 1 home.. especially the home you grow at.

However, how can you not noticed you're being watched for 6 months? Is it that hard, wonder what all was involved in that 6 month 'investigation'

She had to have been fairly smart and paranoid to some extent since she had a bookcase... and how did they find out about the 'secret room' i wonder? Maybe she did tell someone, or the cops tried to move the bookcase when they were searching for evidence, but noticed something fishy once they did.

i wonder since she was 55 and a woman...if she didn't have the wrong person doing some work for her. let's be real, she had to have things wired up, and some stuff probably built. contractors aren't stupid....they tell 2 friends, and they tell 2 friends....etc. plus of course she was selling....it doesn't take but one big mouth.....bummer for her.
