GD, hillbilly checkin in here. we deep fried several and slow smoked 2 spiral hams, the pool table was converted into the desert buffet.

it was all too good, just wish herb was present, some family still hates that i smoke medicinally. ironically straight legalization and taxing cannabis came up while my sister was inside (she opposes MMJ) and all agreed it was time to quit wasting money on prosecuting those involved with Cannabis. it amazes me to see how far my conservative Christian family has come.

stay green

Florida Eastern Colony (UK)

HARVEST DAY in the England (Florida Far North East)

The Objectives:

Since this was my first ever indoor grow and my first grow in over 25 years, the objectives were simple:

1 - Don't kill the plants

2 - produce some quality smoke, any amount

3 - limited investment until grow capability proven

Objectives Achieved I reckon.

The Beans:

1 X Blueberry (Dutch Passion - FEM)
1 X OG Kush (Reserve Privada - FEM)

Harvested at 67 days flowering

The Environment:

Wardrobe Grow

Lights - 2 X 125W CFL

The Good:

- Blueberry is one tough plant...just can't kill it...and I tried

- Blueberry smoke is strong and pleasant (good industrial grade stone)

- OG Kush was beautiful in veg and loved getting cropped.

- OG Kush smoke is very, very exceptional and I will grow it again because of the smoke quality alone.

The Bad:

- Both plants moved twice and shoved into duffel bags way too small for up to 6 hours, once during flowering. OG Kush never really recovered and limped to the finish line.

- Overzealous LST on the Blueberry resulted in not just splitting the stem once, but twice.

- OG Kush is a stinker even in late veg. But the smoke is oh so fine.

- Soil too hot. Miracle Grow...never again. These strains faired it well, but other more tender strains would have problems I reckon.

The Beautiful:

The Cure:

- Both plants are hanging like bats in the flowering chamber. Nothing trimmed yet. Will wait until fan leaves are crunchy to trim down. Special spaghetti dinner planned for trim leaves.

The Overall:

- Blueberry gets a 10 for easy to grow and 8 for quality of smoke.

This may be great for micro grows and space limited grows.

- OG Kush gets a 5 for easy to grow but a 10 for quality of smoke.
(The 5 might be unfair as I was the main culprit in the condition of the plant)

- I get a 2 for grow technique but a 10 for having fun doing it. Hey I didn't kill them...so I get at least a 2 outta 10.

Due to the quality of smoke, I intend to become good at growing OG.

The Next:

2 X Cheese (Greenhouse FEM) and 2 X Himalayan Gold (Greenhouse FEM)

- Will be a transatlantic grow with me in England and my best friend in FLA growing the same strains at the same time (almost)
(Christmas day in FLA, 2 weeks later in England)

- Upgrading to HPS + CFL lighting system

The end

or...dive in head first making a financial commitment...the result will be compelling enough to force you to succeed...we usually succeed when we have the most to lose, it compells us...look at the caveman, he was forced to become an avid hunter in order to kill his game which sustained life...force your grow to succeed...were here to assist an any way komrade...ask away and it shall be given ye...

IonI, heres you some K+ K+ K+ K+ K+ K+ K+ j/k

Boo, i jumped in head first and im never looking back.

i tasted the two that was cut down wed 24 after i got tired of doing a little trimming. they will be cut off the stalks and put in jars for curing tomorrow.

ive not been impressed with Sativa b/c it looks hella ugly from all the Brown Thumb care i gave it and the buds are fluffy, small calyx's and not much trich development due to me only feeding gh bloom twice b/c and high temps.

with that said the smell of the bud is familiar but faint and hard to place but i smoked a bowl out of my bong and its already smooth smoke. i had to take a monster hyperventilating hit to cough and it has a very faint chlorophyll green taste but you had to study the taste to taste it if that makes any sense. im very pleased at how they turned out and cant wait to cut the other down next wed and compare them.

ill probably pull 2 1/2 3 dry ozs by the look of it. cant wait to see.

the 3 clones i took a few days ago look really good, as if they were still the tops of the plants. i didnt put them in 4" grodan blocks b/c i forgot. i put them straight into my organic soil and since this is my second attempt at cloning does anyone else put clones straight into soil?

Don't know why I remember a blower, but I sure as hell remember that truck.
When GMPP first introduced the 502, I dropped one into an 81 Z28 backed by a Doug Nash 5spd. Torque all over the place, frame connecters became a must. I cant even begin to imagine spraying it.
Then their was my Chevelle.
Ah, the nights cruising my 67'velle down Washington ave with 2 chamber 3" flowmasters droning away...
