At FD5 the water level was at the base of the net cups, i was not worried.

However its been stinking hot since then , the plants between then and now dropped about 20litres from the tub.

Obviously this would of suxed completely for the plants but its only about 24 hours so i should of caught it in time.

I topped up water and added another 250ppm nutes. Shes @ 980ppm. I'm not sure if i should of flushed them first, but as i saw no physical evidence of damage it made sense to me to keep em running as per usual.

you might want to get really aggressive with the training bro, i had my BB go from 6" to 3' in flowering. def be careful

i would trim the ladies from the tops
use them for cuttings and give them a week to recover from the trimming and flip to 12/12

Their drinking like camels. Aproximately 10 litres a day.

Trainwreck and cheese also have had a few of these and what i like to do instead of tieing them all with string, is too simpy bend them over gently under the canopy so they are forced to overcome a force to pop their heads back up.

By the time they popup the branches have thickened a lot, giving them more weight and less vertical reach.

Hightech, those are looing swell sir. I will also be trying out AK-48 this go around. Sounds like a decent plant. Really caught my attention that it's a indica that can have sativa like smoke effect, though, guess it all depends on the pheno. I still might order me a pack of those GHS multi fem pack, only I think imma go with the one that has Cheese,church,hawaiian snow, great white shark, and strawberry haze.

I'll be using my 400w HPS like normal, only in an organic setup. My problem is my grow room is a bit over sized, I could easily put a 1000 watt in there with the right ventilation, but I'll make dues with what's available! I'm really gonna LST train them hard this time, to try to fill more horizontal space in my over sized area, and to make several colas instead of a few huge ones.

I wish you the best of luck on the end smoke. It looks as if your stealth cabinet is working like a charm! I will keep a look in here, and see how your AK's compare with mine, till then, happy growing sir!

WhiteShark> Your right that as in an option, ive always been against topping and fimming because i feel like i'm going to far backwards. Theirs plenty of room trust me , ill take it right to the edge though. As far as clones go , so far GWS+48 Are the only strains to grow with a decent indica structure. And i want to get two combinations of mums i can use, based on the pheno's stretch ect;.

OPT> Hey buddy, yeah AK48 hasnt flinched for a second , when trainwreck will show leaf curl from ph straight away, and nute burn straight away. This leaves me to question was it bred for its toughness or its high? ill know soon enough, but one things for sure if your a first or second time grower and having good decent buds with no risk of failure is more important then a fancy selection its DEFINATELY a great pick. All the reports save from connosseurs have remarked on its strength.

Looks fucking excellent mate! If only I had some good dank right about now! Give me a few months and i'll have more then enough, till then I have to just drool like the rest of us. Nothing but shwagg round these parts, and to be honest, the dank buds i do find I just can't spend the money on em! Economic times, whatever.

My plan is to find a nice dank bud for the night, and one I can smoke during the day in times of need, but not be totally floored. It's hard with so many strains to pick from, and what different phenos you can get! Seems like all the pot i get recently has either made me very uneasy or just makes me wanna goto sleep! Now, I'm not saying this is a bad thing all the time, but I like to have variation in my everyday life, who doesn't!!!

I'm getting very excited now... should receive my seeds in the next few days, as well as the greensand i found, should be a nice amendment to my already good mix I have! Hopefully with the new ventilation I will be installing this go around will make my harvest even that more plentiful!! High expectations but hey, dream big or go home right?!!?!

OPT> Paying for weed sucks, i feel your pain. i am in the same boat as you in terms of seeking a weed for every moment type deal, my first quest is weed to help me sleep or late evening weed. Then I'm looking for good evening weed to relax your body well and stimulate a bit of conversation , and also morning weed that can motivate you without ever going near anxiety. With the combo ive got going i shouldnt have trouble! The night i get to smoke 5 different strains of sweet ass bud i am going to feel like the king of the world xD~~.

Big Bang is happy fattening its skinny limbs up. I get no stink from bigbang or the 48's the rest make me want to hump my arm when I'm finished.

AK 48 #2 has jumped about 5CM in 24 hours for some reason, after sitting still for days. I checked timer after this, but all is normal Hrmmm. The stem on this thing is RIDICULOUS considering its size, it has an interesting sort of figure 8 shape to it, like its made up of four parts.

Trainwrecks branches have all played musical chairs in the sunlight and as such i think ill get a good spread of yield. The plant is quite happy growing in very odd way, it seems that it doesnt respond as quickly to changes in light positioning.

The tube does not get hot enough to heat stress leaves anymore, i made a slight adjustment in how the active intake swirled air around the chamber.

It looks a bit silly everytime i photograph it after training, the next day though every growth tip is back in perfect unison.

TW and Cheese would easily be through the roof of the cupboard by now if not trained.

The overcrowding has forced the main growth tips out of the limelight and as a result the other branches have fattened up considerably, I dont think its silly to hope for over 1g per watt now xD.

Ive now tied down about 20 branches.

Looks like a cluster fuck in there now. Good thing you have a cooled light! 1g per watt is a huge expectation, do you mean 1g wet or dry? Either way it's always nice to set your sights high!

Last two days ive lost a few leaves, and one growth tip from heat stress.

I broke 1 large growth tip from trainwreck, wrapped cracked open bit in plastic and taped back together. It should heal.

I installed a tiny fan to blow across the top of the canopy. Will find out if it worked when i check today.

Stretch SHOULD have stopped by now.

Since i mentioned they were drinking 10 litres a day they have gone back to around 2-4? It has been a lot cooler now, no more sweat beads on the fan leaves.

For round two of this setup, im going to plump the DWC into the cupboard so i never need to open it to change and check nutes. That will be so ninja.

Has anyone else noticed theyve stretched 3x their height at flowering!!!

I mean i read about CMH causing extra stretch but wtf is going on here i dont know. Greenhouse seeds market these strains as indica dom Short, stout plants. Maybe im looking after them too well? Maybe canna boost caused extra stretch? I definately have no light leaks, everyone is showing pistil's on time. If you have any ideas please comment.

few expected losses to cramping, nothing major.

I'm really annoyed at AK48. Its possibly the tallest of the plants becoming 2.5 taller then it was at flip. The other one is exactly what it should be, nice and squat.

I wish i had a cooltube with no reflector in the top, so the plants could hug it from the sides properly.

The TW branch i did it too didnt mind, i hope gws dont either. Seriously, when i've used silica in DWC In the past the plants have been MUCH more robust. I am crazy though, so i could be imagining it.
