Does the fan point down into the tent if placed outside?

I just wondered if I put a Ruck fan on top of the grow tent should it be pointing down into the tent i.e through the duct flaps at the top?

Hey whatissixbynine, and thanks for the reply.

What I meant was is it ok for the front of the fan (the bit that draws the air in) to be pointing down into the ducting flaps at the top of the tent?

So it would run

CF > Acoustic Ducting > Fan on top of tent (outside) pointing down into tent and drawing air> Acoustic Ducting into attic.

Don´t mean to barge but I think what he´s asking is simply if it´s ok to mount the fan in a vertical position instead of the usual horizontal way?

Yep Ajminski that's exactly what I'm asking.
Perhaps I should have explained more clearly.

The fan pointing vertically into the ducting flap on the roof of the tent.

it will be fine ... just make sure you have as few turns in your duct as possible

every turn you make you loose cfm

Thanks jeremy.

There will only be 1 turn, the right angle where the ducting from the CF runs up into the fan on the roof of the tent.
