D'oh! forgot to quote first so you'd know what I was responding to...

Dig the dwc. I run 5 gal buckets, but thinking of switching to 2 gal buckets to save room.

I'd suggest RDWC for that. A 2 gal bucket will be lucky to hold a single gal of water. The smaller the res the faster the disaster and a less than 1 gal res is tiny.

Elito, RDWC is recirculating DWC where all the buckets are connected to each other a large central control res.

Throw RWDC into the Advanced Search engine and search Titles Only.

Did you run any aeration in your ebb and flo res?
I run ebb and flow and have a circulation pump, a airstone being ran off a regular 20 gal fish tank air pump and also an aquairiom filter that has the carbon taken out so it is just a bene bacteria colony on a sponge and waterfall.
I can put up a pic if you want.

What kind of ebb and flo were you using? I agree with most of the other posters.. MORE ROOTS=MORE BUD...MORE aeration=MORE BUD

i have a dual pump and a big air stone in the res. and a circulation pump thats on 24/7,they are healthy and thats great just a little slow and the buds look a little small, what u think in comparison to yours,

i just checked it out,im overdoing it these days finishing this new setup,it looks a little complicated and how can i run 100 clones straight to flower in a RDWC,with this table i can try a regular dwc and i wanted to try out on one of the table a mediumless ebb and flow but in it i haver a risk of pump failure and my main goal is to have a stable system that yeilds well and to have as little maintenance as possible, with my soil grow i couldnt leave town for longer than 2 days

they both look great man!
You totally have the basics down...

A lil less veg time on the table I think would have been beneficial.. you could have packed more in and they wouldn't be soo lanky (more bud less sticks). To me it looks like you have too big of a plant in too small a pot. (just barely though)

....or bigger pots..then you could start to compare it to the system I run (each plant gets its own 3.5 gallon bucket with hydroton/rockwool) but I must admit running anywhere near large scale would be infeasable just cause of the sheer amount of hydroton.

You are lookin great reguardless!! :woohoo:

thanks, these are in perlite covered with hidroton just to keep the pots from tiping over,2.5l that less than a gallon,i got the idea from a ebb and flow grow that of dongle69 i think thats the name, she was using the same pots maybe a little bigger, being that this is my first hydro grow i thought thats enough

heres the update,so these buds turned out to be the fattest that i have ever grown, the same clones in the ebb and flow are much thiner and i got some in soil they didnt get this thick,so the everythings the same the only d ifference is that i got too much air pumped in this small res. so i quess they got supercharged,if anyone has any ideas on how can i make this happen on a larger scale efficiently

elito nice buds man,not trying to hijack but question.what does everyone think about doing dwc using tubs like 18-20g rubbermaid for multiple plants?

Those happen all the time 420. People do the 18-20 gallon tubs and routinely grow 4-6 plants at a crack. The 18 and 20 gallon tubs make a safe, simple hydro system that provides solid benefits and can be used for bush-style/SOG grows and SCROG.

It will be hard for you to find a simpler, cheaper system to get started.

Great looking grow. DWC will surely give you some nice fat buds. Here is an interesting article that may help you to do even better with your buckets.

I have found that one of the biggest things with DWC is massive amouts of air. The water can only hold so much O2, but there is another thing is breaking the surface tention of the water with as much turbulance as possible. It keeps things circulating in and around the roots which does wonders for the plants health. That is why those new Undercurrent systems are so damn popular. But you don't have to spend a mint to get the same results if you can keep the plant sites bubbling like a jacuzzi on steroids.

Happy Growing.
