i want to get some pollen of a fem plant what are the methods is gibberellic acid the best way or colloidal silver
i'm placing a order for gibberellic acid and colloidal silver
hope someone lets me know what is the best way

cs is much safer than the acid an you can make it yourself easier than acid, ive used cs an it works fine, ive never used the acid an dont see much point to it as it more toxic etc. up to u though. dont use the health drink cs as its not strong enough u need to make ur own.

how would i know i have brew enough if i make my own i'm getting 999 silver this friday and going to work with it. does EC levels in the water raise? or just look for the color of water?

Hi DG. It would depend on the size of the plant you need to treat with CS, but I found 500mls was more than enough for a small plant. I probably used 400mls. I never took an ec reading but I would say just make it so it's at least a noticeable discolouration of the water. Mine was like that and it worked great. Keep it in the dark and not in a fridge. 1st pic is about when I started spraying.

i lately have been using a mix of ionized silver and ga works well they both reduce ethylene which is what you want. ga is not as toxic as people think its relatively safe to use most fruits and veggies we eat are treated with ga to speed growth. sts is the one that really is toxic.

I see your pictures...I use G acid but I never get as many males as that...just 1 or 2.

Do you spray BEFORE flowering starts? For how long?

I spray when I'm ready to make seeds...after flowering has been going for a few weeks...I spray for 5 days then I stop.

Is that my problem?

i spray 1 week before flower this jump starts the process i have also sprayed at the start of 12/12 this is not as effective but works. but by the time pollen is ready its late in flower so spraying a week to 10 days before flower is best with ga or silver.

also if you make your own silver it must be stored in glass preferably dark colored(amber). plastic containers light and cold temps have a negative effect on the solution. with plastic it is because of electrical static which lowers the life span of the ionized silver solution.

I guess the trick is to start spraying BEFORE switching the lights... Because it seems that afterward makes nonviable pollen.

I would never try to smoke any part of a plant that has been treated with ANY of the solutions for femminizing.
Take a clone and treat it, get your pollen, and do NOT smoke the buds after. Throw it away. Unless of course you have the same drive as a crack head crawling on the floor looking for that chunk he knew fell down there....plopping the occasional bit of lint or a crumb from a glazed donut into his pipe...just to make sure....

well if you eat fruits and veggies you have eaten plants treated with ga it is long gone a few weeks after treatment it is a natural compound(hormone). and as far as ionized silver people have been eating and applying it to there bodies and foods for thousands of years to cure disese and preserve foods like milk as an example.sts(silverthiosulphate) is another matter it is rather toxic. but ga and silver are quite safe when used properly. do some research and you will see there is much misinformation on cannabis websites particularly regarding ga.

Do your own research and you will see that we (cannibis growers and pollen chuckers) are pretty much clueless on the "proper" way to treat a plant, especially with cs.
And the levels we are talking about are quite a bit more than what you would encounter from commercial produce.

I'd say you should maybe qualify yourself when you say something is quite safe...I mean, is this your feeling or do you have specific info or insight for us?

If a person thinks it's fine to consume a plant that has been treated with any of the known femminizing solutions, that's fine, smoke away...but I think it better advise for others to keep from the treated weed.

not going to argue on here i have done my research you can do your own if you would like. im a health oriented person and dont put my body in harms way silver solutions not sts are safe and have been directly consumed by people for a long time and were talking large dosages. ga is broken down and as a compound is no longer on or in the plant a few weeks after being applied it is used by fruit and vegetable farmers worldwide has been for many years as well. with minimal precaution these compounds are safe. smoking un-flushed buds grown with chemical ferts is worse for you. dont just assume im wrong look into the matter and not on cannabis websites where there is much misinformation particularly regarding ga. no need to get personal and insulting with me though thats silly were on the internet.
