Mum serenades cannabis crops with classical music

A Kiwi mother-of-four has admitted to playing classical music to her marijuana plants to help make them grow.
Zarah Murphy told a courtroom she particularly liked to put Bach on the stereo.
The 29-year-old grew 20 cannabis dope plants in a secret den that was decorated with pretty pictures of shiny plants and played music throughout the secret hiding spot, according to the Taranaki Daily News.
The New Plymouth woman said the surroundings were supposed to help "nurture" her crop.
Judge Allan Roberts told the court: "She must be smoking a hell of a lot," to laughter from those present.
She was sentenced to 250 hours' community work.

What it actually is, is plants respond to certain frequencies, more specifically bird chirping like frequencies. They cause the stoma to open wider.

In the morning birds chirp signaling plants stoma to open and photosynthesis to begin. I read this somewhere can't quote the source.
