Closet Grow 600 HPS

Hey how’s everyone doing? Just thought I would post some pictures of what I got going on and seeing what everyone has to say.

First off it’s in a 4x3x7 closet inside my room. We have 8 T5 lights right now for vegging and a 600 HPS for flowering. Got the whole system set up ready to go. Using Roots Organic Soil.

Started off with 6 different clones from different dispensaries.
Bubblegum
Grapefruit
New York Diesel
Sweet Lou
Silver Haze
Hash train

From seed:
Flo
Grand Daddy Purple

It’s been about 3 weeks since I got the clones and they seem to be doing very well. Been under 24/0. Just transplanted them to 5-gal buckets. Just starting our 3rd rend of Humboldt organic nuts. Just got ginormous and big up powder for when we start flowering. Excited to see how those work.

The only concern for two of them is for the Sweet Lou and the Hash Train. To start off the Sweet Lou is getting weird white looking discolorations on all of its leaves. It’s not (at least doesn’t look like it) spider mites I don’t believe because I don’t really see any crawling around. Maybe it’s from spraying the plants or something?

Now for the Hash train. Let’s just say something looks way off this one. First off I think whoever took clones took it from when the plant was flowering. I know this is another method of cloning to make plants bushier, but I think they really fucked it up. Its new growth starts off by growing one leaf. Then all the leaves are growing so close together it doesn’t look right. Leaves are also covered in crystals which don’t make any sense it’s been under 24 lights.

Grow5 is the Hash Train that looks semi retaded

How are ya hemp23, the grow is looking pretty good. Only thing that worries me is the clone/seedling in the clear plastic cups, roots do not like sunlight. Other than that everything else is looking great.
What type of 600 are you using? I plan to upgrade in a month or so and use it on my next round, that is why I ask.

Keep up the good work,
Ace

Im good Ace thanks for posting. Thanks for that advice on that seedling. We had some green algae growing on the bottom of the cup so i figured that was also form the sunlight. I figured I would just put it into a new pot pretty soon.

I cant find the recepit for the life of me, but it was a hortilux bulb i believe. We got a nice hook up from the local grow store. Got a xtrasun ballast, hydrofarm reflector, 6" inline fan, can filter, and the bulb for a good deal.

Hey can the white spots on the leaves and the weird growth on one of my plants be from a copper def?

your pics dont show much. All i see is some weed growing. White spots can be powdery white mildew, which can ruing your crop if not treated in early stages

Whats up everyone. Thanks for stopping by.I actually live in Colorado, but yeah getting clones that easy is very nice. I like the humboldt so far. You have to buy alot of their nutrients for their program and they are easy to over do and burn your plants. Other then that i think they should do fine. I just cant wait to start flowering so i can actually use the system set up. Yeah the pictures didnt turn out that well and I want to take some more detailed ones.

I was looking on some of the ladies and there are a small number of spider mites i believe on the tops on the leaves, but then I dont see much activity on the underside. I want to attack them early, whats the best method I should use. Cn someone recomend something The ladies are still in veg.

looks great, i myself am using a 600w for flowering in a similar sized growing area.
good luck hope it turns out great.

From the first picture, the plant in the back does look like mite damage. I have had a time with mites, and it seems prevention is the best way to supress mite damage. Some tips to keep mites at bay.
1. Use an insecticide bomb in grow area (not with plants though)
2. Use Neem oil as a foliar
3. When transplanting, use a neem oil dip (completely dip plant in a mix of neem oil)
4. Use predatory lady bugs
5. Worst case senario - Pyrethrum bomb w/ plants (probably would not do past 2nd week of flowering)

The single leaf clone is ok, clone was probably took in early flowering.

Ended up getting some AzaMax and Pure spray green. Just sprayed all of thedm last night with a mixture of the two. Then add the azamax to our nutrient cycle. Hopefully it works out thanks for answeres.

Hey quick question for everyone. Most of my plants are huge bushes and all i've done so far is take 2 clones from each lower node. But there are also more lower branches that seem like they arnt getting that much light and can be taken as clones, but this branches are too big to be put under any humidity dome or anything like that. So what do you think I should do? They also have aleady started going up to search for more light.
