Would a 15x jewelers loupe work for inspecting the trichomes on buds for harvest? I know most magnifing glasses are about 4x. And some people here use 30x-60x. So....?
I run a 30x and its still hard to see..
if you own a digi cam that has macro
Take a few macros, and zoom them in on your pc
I do not bother with the micro scopes and magnifying glasses anymore.
they also have macro usb devices now as well
Hello Dr Dog,
What Kind Of Macro USB Devices? What Would I Use To Search For Them?
Thank You

The cheaper loupes usually have plastic lenses and are blurred apart from the centre of image , best ones are triplex ,three glass lenses bonded together , and give a flatter field of view at a higher price.
See no need to go beyond 10x myself , can just pick out colour of individual trichs but easier to judge a percentage amber at this magnification than higher.
The inexpensive USB microscopes off fleabay do not live up to expectations and are soon discarded , the Bionicam however is exceptionally good for the money and local schools are useing them.
