I wouldn't necessarily say those are junk seeds just because they didn't show roots in water. What was the temperature of that water? Temperature dramatically influences germination success rates. Optimum temperature is around 80-85 degrees if I remember right.

Also, 4 days in water is too long, in my opinion. Water has very little oxygen, which the seed needs just as much as water in order to germinate. If I soak in water its for a maximum of 24 hours before being planted...

Did your seeds crack? I would just plant them, put them somewhere warm, and keep an eye on them...

i found attitude crap too, altho not neccesarily for bad germ rates. i ordered 10 blueberry, they sent five "female" seeds, only 4 germed and 2 were male. they are rubbish in my opinion

after the 4 days they looked EXACTLY the same as before the germination^^
no crack no roots no change .... the others im germinating right now (also from attitude) arent doing better 5/13 cracked open since yesterday

all seeds were stored the right way so do my new seeds i got yesterday

i think ill do some small grows till i got my appartment ...

I was on vacation as well.. Went down to the mountains for a bit of R and R... and mountain climbing on my dirtbike... Whew was I sore yesterday... The hash helps...

Absolutely love going down yander... Its a true wilderness... Just you, your bike, your friends and family, the mountains and the sky... Bundle up tight with wind blockers and lots of layers. Hop on your bike and ride down the road to the Trogdon's Biscuits 'n More/ gas station/auto repair shop. Fill up, get back on the bike, ride a few miles down the road... Fog just starting to burn off.. You see a bit of blue directly above your head, and you know the sun wants to show himself... Hit a mountain trail, watch for rocks, and don't back off...

Some of the best vacations I have ever been on...

Come lunch time, head down yander to the local gas station... Everyone fills up with gas and a 24 ounce beer, maybe meets some of the local folk, and then we gear up and head back up the mountain.... You grab for your extra gears as you cruise through the old mining roads looking for your next trail enterance. We ride until the shadows of the mountains tell you its time to start heading down... Get out now, because it gets dark fast in the mountains.. Night starts to come and you gorge yourself your days meals after a big ol tastey pipe... Sit around the campfire, settle with some beers, and you better head off to bed in good time because morning will come faster than you think...

pipeline, your really lucky with all that wilderness down the road. i would need to go to a different country to find anywhere like that, and i intend to some day

i love the idea of disappearing off into the wilderness for a month or 2 with my equipment to survive on me back.

it is a bit worrying as after i disappeared he mentioned about putting something in the sig, like "gone fishing" so we know people are ok. im hoping it will just be a simple case of a buggered computer or a little holiday.
