leaftips?

My skunk 1 plants are 51 days into flower. They appear to be 75-80% sativa phenos. And slower maturing. May go 65-70 days. The pistils on the buds are still mostly light green with a few turning red. The buds are growing nice. Problem is the long leaves that grow out of the buds are drying out on the tips. The humidity here is low and im wondering if this is a heat issue or fert problem? Ive just cut back to water with molasses since i most likely have a couple weeks left. If this is a heat issue will it affect the potency? The buds look nice its only the leaf tips.

Might just be nute burn on the leaf tips...hard to tell with no pic. Keep flushing, should be fine.

The temps are around 85f. Humidity around 40-50%. The buds are getting close to the light. The hood is air cooled and im running 5 fans total. One is blowing over the tops. Im starting to flush so...? My cheap camera doesnt get it for good close ups.

its normal for the leaves to turn yellow towards the end of flowering. at least thats what i've gathered from what i've read.

Yes the leaves are starting to turn yellow and i know thats normal for a mostly sativa strain. The leaves growing out of the buds closest to the light look bleached from being so close. I dont have any way to raise the light anymore. And ihad to snap the main stems over at 2 weeks into flower because of stretch. The one plant thats the tallest and closest to the light is the one that the leaves are drying at the tips. First the tips curled up. So im thinking too much heat or light. They both get the same amount of ferts and water.

Sounds like you got heat issue's. The tops of the plants can take a good amount of abuse though. Just becareful of the root zone temp.
IMO I think to many folks spend time trying to find out what the problem is with their plants, when alot of it has to do with root zone temps. But I'm no xpert.

According to Urban Gardner, tops & other parts of the plant can shut down their photsynthisis cycle if the light get too close and burns the foliage or buds. Also, some necrosis is common toward the end of plants life cycle.
