ahhhhh shoot, CalcioErba!! Nice bro, I predict big things for the future....
Hey narnia! How's it going mate? Are you a psychic because big things are happening in the future. Here is a taste right here.
I got my flowering tent set up last night and hung my light in it as well to check for light leaks. Now all I have to do is get my exhaust fan mounted, get a carbon filter and an oscillating fan. After that I have to wait until I can take a few clones to start flowering the Chronic ladies. My brother is coming to visit me next week and he is bringing the rest of my seedstock and my seedling heating pad(new costs $25 that I can't afford) so I can start taking clones as soon as possible.
I'm going to be pushing the limits here and shooting for 1g per watt. With the Chronic it should be obtainable. Saw a grow a few years back on here, he pulled a little over a elbow from under a 400W with 1 Chronic plant so I am very optimistic. Well without further ado, lets take a look at the tent!
This is the tent all closed up. You can see the HPS glow just barely through the vent in the bottom left of the tent. We stepped outside to see what it looked like from the outside. It looks like a warm white bulb burning in a small lamp. I am going to have to do something about that but considering its 400W of light, it masks it very well.
This is the tent with the door open. Now there are 2 doors to this thing. One is the one that I am using, looks like a camping tent door. The other side(should have take pics) opens completely. It has 2 flaps that zip at the top and bottom and they connect in the middle and zip up together to close up. I opted for the door pictured so that when I am in the thing working, it's not full blast HPS glow coming out. Besides closing one zipper is easier than trying to close 3 if I need to close it quickly.
The construction of the tent is awesome! This is the part I like the most. All vents have this flap that covers them so that no light leaks in or out. The velcro is very strong! The material reminds of of the same thing that bubble bags are made of. There are several vents on either side and on the top for exhausting. I think you can use up to a 6" duct with this tent.
This is the passive intake vents. There is one on either side and there is one on the door flap. Great design for me because I hate having to use an intake fan.
I shall return later and continue the adventures in the tent! Next time we will travel inside and marvel at the wonders of Cal's Flowering Tent. Take care everyone! Keep it danK!

I will try and get the rest of the pics of my tent up today. I hung the exhaust fan up and the tent has been running for about 2 days on a 12/12 cycle. I want to get my bill to start matching so when I do have plants in there I am not turning it on right away and getting a small spike in my bill all of a sudden. My brother comes in tomorrow afternoon with the rest of my seed stock and my germinating pad. If I can't get pics up today, I will include them with my weekly update tomorrow or Wednesday. Upper right side. This is the side where you can hang your fan and your carbon filter. The tent came with adjustable straps to hang a fan and filter so no need for bungies unless you want to use them.

Here are the 4 Chronic Mothers. #1 and #4 share the same growth structure and #2 and #3 share the same growth structure. I think I might have the 2 different phenotypes.

The seem to be doing well but they seem to be deficient in something, I'm thinking it's still N but maybe more experienced eyes can spot something I am not seeing.

One of the GP seeds ended up being a twin. The other smaller twin has not come up through the surface but I know its there.

Hey Franki! Plants are doing good. I tried typing an update up twice and lost all the work both times. I am going to do a super 2 week update later today. Sorry for being so quiet! Life is happening.

Chronic Clones
As you can see things are doing good. The tops some of the leaves are twisting, probably from touching the lamps. It seems every time I raise the lamps, the next day the tops are touching them again. I might do some LST on them to keep them from growing too tall. I also took 2 clones off each plant(like my ghetto domes?). As soon as these root the moms are gonna go into flower.
[Come se vede, le cose vanno bene. Le foglie sulle cime si sono contorti, probabilmente perche toccano le lampade. Mi sembra ogni volta che alzo le lampade il prossimo giorno le cime gia li stanno toccando un altra volta. Forse faro un po di LST(allenamento di stress leggero) con loro per fermarli a crescere cosi alti. Ho fatto anche 2 clone da ogni pianta(ti piace le mie tente?). Apena vedo radice sui clone, metto le madre a fiorare.]

Jack Herers have been sexed and I have 1 male and 2 females. The females 1 looks good and the other is having some kinda lock out it seems. Still growing but its growing odd. Anyway I gotta go. I am not really 100% sure what is going on with this one. I think its getting too much P and locking out the Fe. I'm going to back off the FF Big Bloom and make a tea from nori seaweed I have sitting around. I don't think it is a pH issue but I have not tested that theory yet. Help is always appreciated.

Hey Rex, thanks for stopping by! I am using Pure Blend Original Grow and FF Big Bloom in very small doses for micro nutrients. I will be switching to Pure Blend Original Bloom and FF Big Bloom in a higher dosage for flowering. I am on a budget right now. I would be using B'cuzz Grow, Bloom and Root as addatives and Superthrive for vitamins and amino acids. Hopefully I can get some money together here shortly and really get this off the ground. Cambiero a Pure Blend Original Bloom e Fox Farm Big Bloom ad un piu alto dosaggio per fiorare. Sto senza soldi adesso.
