In a sign-of-the-times, a teenager was busted when he went door-to-door selling marijuana like an Avon lady. Unfortunately he just happened to knock on the door of an off-duty police officer, who had him wait while he got his gun and handcuffs.

I kinda like the idea of marijuana being sold door-to-door. Perhaps when it's legal, it will be like girl scout cookies. Perhaps girl scout ganja cookies? Let's see what flavors we can come up with?

not quite the same I know, but here in NL we have "24hr Dial-a-Deal" guys... I remember one I used years ago came with an aluminium breifcase with 20 odd kinds... was good fun (although a little more expensive than the coffeeshop) he had papers n lighters too which was useful

Thanks Skip, I also found some interesting information on that site about the DEA's stance on the AMA's latest recommendation for the reclassification of cannabis from a schedule 1. Apparently on the DEA Web page “Exposing the Myth of Smoked Medical Marijuana,” the agency writes, “the American Medical Association recommends that marijuana remain a Schedule I controlled substance.” That statement directly contradicts the new policy that the AMA issued last week. WTF.......

i just got off the phone with harborside. after they have effected their complete takeover of the city of Oakland, they are going to name a street after him. Look for the large statue of him at the corner of MLK and Dopey McSchmuckiepants Boulevard.

And many of you probably don't understand the border life where many things are sold door to door, or in the street from hand carts. I used to look forward to the sugar cane salesmen from Juarez who came down our street every year. We bought most of our fruit from hispanics who knocked on our door.

My buddy told me about this but he said it was a man. Now that I find out its a teenager who was drunk and packing heat, it's even funnier to me. I am sorry but people that do stupid shit like this are the ones that need to be locked up. Too bad there is no law making stupidity illegal, just laws that are stupid.
