HOW much light for the mothers

i need about 100 clones every 2weeks time,right now im keeping the mothers under a 400w mh i have 8 mothers,but as they branch out the spot from a single reflector is not enough to cover the area,i dont want to add more watts,i have some cfl tubes 58 w so if i put 8 of these i can cover the area better but the penetration is weak,any advice for a setup for mother plants is much appreciate

you dont need 8 mothers for 100 clones every 2 weeks. 6 is more than enough everytime i veg them.

My choice is to take clones from my vegging plants a week before flipping them, rather than keeping a load of moms. I do keep a couple moms as backup stock, but don't clone much off them. Used to do it that way, but kept coming up short and having to hunt down some "filler" clones right before starting a new run. That was ok too when I didn't mind testing out a new strain, just do it with the fillers as a small test.

i wana make a clone to flower zero veg. setup,what about the light would those 58w cfl's work 10 of them or is that 400w mh lifted maybe a little higher better

Throw that MH on a light mover and your good to go. A buddy is taking around 100 cuts every 2 weeks from 6 mothers... he's running a 400mh on a mover.

I'm currently taking 40 cuts from 2 mothers every 2 weeks. You should only need about 5 plants to take that many cuts from every two week.

how much light do u need for 1 or 2 clones to last 6 months, how small of box could i use? thanks all.....
