Where I am goin, it could be considered late fall here, but I am heading up for some backwoods camping in Northern Ontario at the end of Sept..

So basically our trip (gf and I) will be heading up with our canoe (kevlar prospector) and doing 6 km worth of portaging and about 150 km of canoeing.

we figure it will take 3.5 days to go one way to our destination, staying for a few days then making our way back. 10 in total.

We have geared up with the latest in outdoor gear and lightweight gear. I am looking forward to it.

Going to be interesting to say the least, Bears, racoons, Wolves, all will be around. I will have a nice stash and my dslr camera. so stay tuned for updates

Sounds like it will be an incredible trip.

I spent today canoeing/fishing with one of my good friends. There's been decent rainfall on the East coast so the river wasn't too low which was nice. Canoeing is very relaxing.

Make sure to keep you stash/papers/lighters nice and dry!

Well getting close to the day I go. Next Friday, I will be up there.

No worries about my stash, all will be good then, I have a multitude of storage options!!

Sounds awesome! I hope you'll have a picture or two.

I haven't been out this year. I was going to go Wednesday to Starved Rock State Park, but they raised the price to 30 bucks for one night. It's also still a bit warm. I gotta go check out Rock Cut.

Thanks for posting!
