No need to trim anything. When they are switched to 12/12 they will stretch out and open up lots of space for light to penetrate.

I would put a couple more cfls in there rather than trim.. you really dont have much there to trim at all bro

That is one of the most debated subjects, to trim or not. Check out some of the trim threads to get some pros and cons.

Hey Yoshi, like everyone has said, don't trim anything. Lots of leafs/plant material + lots of light = nice growth and development (cheer). How many watts have you got lighting your grow space?

i currently have four 27 watt cfls ( on package it said it equals to 100 watts)

yea im not goint to trim i was just worried and thinking about my scrog setup

alright its been 35 days into veg and i didnt check my girls for the last 3 days and man was i suprised in how much theyve grown.

the white widow in the middle is dominating my cab and the lowrider is hiding out under it to the right

the la woman is looking very lush. all plants look healthy but now i came across a problem

the plants grew really big, too big for me to put my scog net on....should i try to flower soo so they dont grow too big? and i dont know if you can tell from the crap pictures but the foilage is REALLY thick...here are the pics!!!

let me know what you guys think

because i have no place to lst them.lol and scrog may be out the question unless i figure out a new way to do it. they pretty much blew up in my cab lol

Your plants look great. I am sorry they overgrew your setup, but that really isn't something to complain about :violin:

Yoshi, your plants look nice and healthy dude. Those big fan leaves are doing there job well.

because i have no place to lst them.lol and scrog may be out the question unless i figure out a new way to do it. they pretty much blew up in my cab lol

Try and use string around the stems, not too tight, and the tape them to the pots. It will keep it nice and tidy and you wont have string all over the place.

lol no complaints here im just worried that there wont be enough light because the folage is so thick and it wont reach the lower budsites. thanks for the compliments !!

LST dude, L.S.T! Spread those big fan leafs out, it will let more light through the canopy that way and you'll notice a he'll of a lot of difference in the lower sites. Have you trimmed or lst'd atall? Can't wait to see pics of these in flower? Have they showed sex yet?

Got to do some kind of training. LST, SCROG etc... Don't worry your not the first, and certianly won't be the last, person to start growing, get caught up in watching the plants grow, and then think "Oh Shit" these girls are going to double or even tripple in size during flower.
Check out my tutorial on crimping the tops. It will slow down your upward growth and as they bush out it will give you more to work with for a SCROG or even LST.

it wont hurt to trim a bit to let light in, i myself trim/prune 30-40 leaves off each plant every week and top a branch here and their.

well i guess ill try to get some baby string and tie some leaves. im going to look at your tutorial first. i have before lol but like you said i got caught up in the grow lol. once i got the ph worked out they started gettin bigger every day.

no seanny i havent. mainly cause im just nervous lol but i guess you cant learn unless you dive in huh. they are 2 feminized plants and one normal one. the normal one is the la woman and its a girl too.

the ak 47 is a lowrider autoflower....kinda of a bad strain combo for such a small cab because the widow is dominating the whole cab.

hey nice start man, but rather than tieing string directly to the branches, tie it to a paper clip thats been opened up, and hook the paper clip to the branch at a node or something, this will keep you from slicing or cutting a branch with the string. also you may want to try supercropping if you have nowhere to tie to, it is simple. after a good watering with no nutes, squeeze a branch a bit lower than the height you want it, when it "scrunches" between your fingers, gently bend it over, you have to do it on the flat side of the branch if it has one. do this with all branches getting too tall, and you can manage height this way easily. its basically like a scrog without the screen. it works great and is easier than trying to tie everything down. and you don't have to deal with a screen or worrying whether you have the screen at the right height. and when you get a new apical branch that out grows the rest, you do the same to it to get it down to height. easiest thing ever, just take care not to actually break a branch off. even if you do break the top side of a branch a little, it wont hurt it any, it will recover just fine and make nice buds! the key is to feel it crunch in your fingers before you start to gently bend it. good luck!
