I did a pack some years back. It had big buds. potency was mild, hopefully you will have better luck.

I haven't grown it, but I've smoked some that was started indoor and then flowered outdoors in soil. My buddy pulled out his jar that had been curing for about a month, and all it had in it were very large buds. The smoke was nothing special in terms of the high, the smell or the taste. Would be more than adequate for a commercial grow somewhere where there isn't a whole lot of choices. My buddy couldn't move even small amounts in CA due to the mediocrity of it and the numerous choices most consumers have.

Still got the job done though, and I think 90% of your average smokers wouldn't complain about it.

"Big Bud" here in the Pacific Northwest was always been and will always be considered a 'cash crop' strain and little more.

From my perspective it's basically 'worthless' as far as being a 'medical marijuana' strain.

By any and all definitions.

Good comercial strain you get a few good buds. Overall I think there are better comercial strains that give more yield per plant. But not a bad choice.

Most retail customers don't give a shit about taste and never question it.

If I grew some skunk and called it super duper special shit people would thinks it's the next best thing. It's all about marketing around here

I would think that the BigBud X Northern lights that they offer is a much better choice and still holds the yeild. If you take into account that Mr. Nice puts 20 seeds in a pack his critical mass aka bigbud would be the way to go.

My first grow was BB from Nirvana. I know there are a lot of BB haters out there, but I must have gotten lucky. Good smoke, good taste, easy to grow (despite my lack of knowledge/experience), and it seemed to get better with age. Call me a 'lightweight', but I'll grow it again.

Hey ClosetGrow, I'm in the city...more specif in the ghetto. My shit is chopped and broken down so many times before it gets to the retail customer I think it's only 50% weed ha!

Seriously...when there isn't anything to smoke the worst tastes like the best

My last Northern Lights X Big Bud plant harvested. I was given this as a clone from my tightwad hippy friend, who only bought them from Nirvana as they were so cheap! But it's a very good, stable cross, and I had no complaints at all.

The last clone I possessed was planted outdoors in the woods late in June, and of all the strains planted, it's easily coping the best - I'm still trying to decide whether to bring a clone back home before it flowers! Great strain.

id go with the big bud x northern lights, seems like if you do find an amazing pheno itll probably have more potential than the big bud.
