Good info. How long do you guys let the res sit for between adding a and b componets? Do you adjust ph prior to adding suplements.

I mix A in the rez for about 5 min. thoroughly mixed. Then I let it sit for 10 min. I then repeat for the B and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then I ph and add additive or whatever. I have found that doing this (as the instructions say to do) I have a solution that is more ph stable (less drifting) then in rushing the mix, which is what I have done in the past and regretted the ph fluctuations.

It;s all in the instructions.

ive been running general hydro for a long time and have got that shit pretty well dialed. started using coco recently and am changing my formulas slightly. in about a week or 2 im gunna be running all the h&g sample kits i was given side by side with my gh formula

Those of you using bloombastic, are you starting to use it when you normally add your PK boosts or are you using it from the beginning of flower with base nutes?

i ph before the additives always and my ph barely raises over 3-4 days in the res, no need to ever adjust it... not sure what your issue is

I am mixing week 4. Been running H&G full line minus the Amino Boost. (Guy at the humboldt distributor could literally not tell me a single good reason to buy it. It was an interesting conversation to say the least. ) Anyhow. I add Cap's Root pack and extra BTi cuz i had a fungus gnat problem a few runs ago.

Been running H&G as normal weeks 1-3. AFlakes in a VERY large rez. Last week, I ran Normal H&G as above and added Bloombastic @ 2ml per gallon. I got an extra week of stretch that is really fucking with me on one strain... I will live. That mix had Multi-Zen in it. This week calls for the switch to Bud XL from MZ, but so far I have not mixed it in wondering if it will mix well with the Bloombastic.

Also, next week is the week I usually hit with Top Booster. I have seen my strains grown with A+B+Bloombastic and prefer them to the uber foxtaily nug i get with shooting powder.

any thoughts, my friends?

I know this is an old thread, but whiles its at the top....

I read in a thread somewhere in hear that the amino treatment from H&G has some silica in it. I can't attest to the validity of the statement but if there is silica in there, that could be one possible reason to run it. I'll see if I can dig up that thread.

On another note, I'm only in the first week of flower running the H&G line so I haven't had the need to add Bud XL yet. What's the general concensus....is it just an enzyme? Should I run it??

Apparently H&G released a new product, I believe its called Top Shooter maybe??? It can be used as a replacement for the Shooting Powder. Does anyone have any experience with this product? I planned to use the Bud XL, Top Booster, and either Shooting Powder or Top Shooter. What do you guys recommend?

I'd really like to hear what people have to say that have experience with this H&G. Thanks

im pretty sure there are no pgr's in the H@G line. otherwise, it wouldn't be for sale in california. thats why there no more phosphoload around here, banned in cali for the pgr's, along with some other nutrients i cant remember off the top of my head.

i use the whole line, i dont care if you use this for 1 week and this for 2 weeks, all i know is that ive used damn near every nutrient on the market side by side, H@G slams!

i also switched out the shooting powder for bloombastic. i can attest that the shine with the bloombastic is much more pronounced. but, i have to achieve the weight i get with the shooting powder.

Have all PGRs been banned? I thought it was just products with high levels that were banned. I mean, I can still buy kelp extracts

I agree with you on protek for silica. I've been running protek with different nutrients for a while now but since I decided to try out H&G, I pulled it from the regimen. I still have a gallon on the shelf.

So what's the concensus on Bud XL? Use it or don't use it?

well, not sure anyone actually answered the origniator..

but to answer, H&G because of labeling laws and hassle, made the nutes look very low, but that is because labeling law states there is a minimum what you put as a 'guaranteed analysis' in the bottle.

so for simplicity sake of laws, they dropped every NPK number to .__
