Repotting is the hardest skill to transmit in writing, it really helps to get a lesson 'in person' if possible. There's no reason to shock the plants at all and you can pop 'em right back under the lights immediately IF, you don't disturb the rootball and you remember (as happyherb points out) to water after. One important point that non mainstream horticulture folks (read cannabis growers) often haven't learned is how to thump the container sharply on the bottom to loosten the roots from their hold on the pot. Then, put your hand on the top of the rootball with the stem between your fingers and flip that baby upside down. If the pot doesn't pop right off, a few squeezes of the sides and some pushing down of the center section of the bottom usually loostens it enough. Hope this helps some with future repots. With luck your plant will be better tomorrow like happyherb says.

With a well formed root ball your plant should slide out of the pot pretty easily. I know some people transplant when soil is a little wet still- I don't and I find it helps keep the root ball together.
To answer your question, No your plant should not look droopy from a transplant. My plants start to explode in growth within 2-3 days.
How long ago did you transplant? Wet or dry?
Did you water afterwards.. How much?
I usually make sure the rootball gets a bit of water and then water mostly around the outside of the pot to encourage roots to find water.
You don't want to saturate the mix until the plant has grown into the pot, although I'd recommend the first time you saturate the pot make sure you have 30-50% runoff to ensure no salts had built up in the meantime.
