"Brewing tea for guys with small pumps" or "Making concentrated teas for dilution"

My heavy duty air pump is out on loan and I'm stuck with three aquarium pumps to brew some AACT with.

The three pumps working together dont really provide the action I want to see in a five gallon bucket, but stir the hell out of a gallon container.

So my question is: Can the ingredients for 5 gallons of AACT be brewed in a 1 gallon container, and then diluted down to 5 gal. ?

or, pardon the pun,

Am I just trying to stuff 5 pounds of shit into a 1 gallon jug?

You can brew in 1 gal. using the same ratios of ingredients. You can dilute but the microbes will be less dense.

So do not try and brew a 5 gallon batch in a 1 gallon container, Just brew more often. and apply the diluted mixture.
