Thanks. Happy you like it
I got a picture of my lamp, or at least you are able to see the difference in light i get from my two types of bulbs. The white one is a standard 865, the purple is the triplus (aka triton), a bulb with much lower amount of the middle spectrum of light the plants can't use (not much unlike grolux).
Three bad things.
A very small one(pic from yesterday):
The hurricane i had on for a few days damaged some of the exposed leaf tips.
Slightly bigger problem: Caught a thrips fly in my cab, no signs of larvae on any leafs.
I've been breeding "Amblyseius cucumeris" to defend my plants, but not anymore since i thought my cab's would keep them bastards out. But I sit with the cap open ever so often.
I will try to get some "Amblyseius swirskii" (a very effective predator) this time. I should be able to breed on them as well, though it's a bit more demanding.
And the biggest: I took a shortcut with my soil, this being a spontaneous testrun. The soil I got promised a Ph value of 6,2-6,8, but it is 5,8 tested from the bag and the cab. I'm lucky I took my time to test the soil yesterday, and the plants still seem untouched by the problem.
I'll give them a dose of potasiumcarbonate to reset the soil, but first I have to run tests on the right amount so I won't set it too high. A lot of work
