Just moved all my babies into the room. Im using this new hydrocorn as a medium. It might not be new, but its the first I have seen of it.

I had a small leak coming from the table to the rez. so im fixing that at the moment. Ive got 1 rez mixed and im just hand watering them in right now. Was wondering if anybody had any suggetions on a watering schedule. Lights are on for 24hrs. Im hoping to get the leak fixed so i can spread them out and start flooding them.

Thanks for your help:joint::joint:

cuttings or seed?

cuttings or seed?

ive used hydroton 12 yrs not seen hydrocorn .but early first week .if in rockwool cubes in hydroton. need to keep an eye on ph run of to be sure .tip pot at 45 deg 1hr after flood and 2 hr test ph the difference in ph between 1 and 2 hr will tell if you got a ph swing or not .also in soft water you need to buffer you ph in the tank that is take it over acidic then bring it back to the right ph with pottasium hydroxide with stop big shift in ph .over a 2 week period my cuttings would on ly get 1 to 2 floods per light period until first roots through bottom of pot then go to 3 to 4 floods .also time it takes for flood full to drain empty has a bearing on how many floods a day cf 1.0 start up with cuts. 0.6 with seed. with cuts biuld up cf over 2 weeks to 2.0 if cuts romping along.

yea i agree with andyo well the part i followed lol htdrotron and rockwool can throw off ph big time so keep an eye on that. ya can presoak your mediums to help with that some. im assuming he already has well established roots andyo. if so imo 500 to 600 pm ph 5.8 too 6.2 4 to six floods a day good luck and hope ya get that leak fixed. peace

thecoon,
Well, it depends on what phase of growth your in. Sounds like you're going to veg them and bloom them in the same tray? Every three hours (or thereabouts) seems to work.

Are the plants in pots or are you filling the whole tray?

How many plants...meaning is this a sea of green? Multiple small plants with short veg time...
