DJ Short's F13

What a joy, both in the grow and the finished product. I am currently growing out the rest of my pack (6 surviving seedlings), but this is a report on the smoke of the first pheno I grew out.

Aroma: (10/10) Dark, Berry with undertones of citrus

Taste: (8/10) Heavy Floral Incense with sweeter berry overtones on the exhale

High: (10/10) Stimulating, Uplifting, Crisp Electric Floaty Feeling in the head

I am really enjoying this strain. It is only the second strain I have ever grown, but it is by far the best, most exotic strain I have ever experienced.

After I grow out these other F13 plants and find my keeper male and female I am going to pop a pack of DJ Short's Blueberry to compliment this amazing sativa.

thats what i plan to do TD1. And no it wont ruin the progeny at all, in fact it will increase the number of available phenotypes in the F2 seeds.

My germ rate was 10/10, but 1 never made it out of the shell (even with assitance) and shriveled and dried in the pod. 2 others made it out, but were so severaly mutated not even their cotelydons developed all the way and their main root did not penetrate in the soil deep enough. This left me with 6 seedlings (minus the one female I already grew/cloned). The 6 seedlings I have are doing splendidly and will likely be put into flower in a month.

I think this is the next strain I will add to my indoor garden.

Were you happy with the yield?

I highly suggest this strain, as the end product is by far the most exotic, uplifting high i've ever experienced. I only grew the one female last run and was vegged for 3 weeks from seed, very low yield, but you quickly forget about that with the quality. I cannot truly judge the yield on this pheno yet as I have yet to grow it out from clone, but I'd guess a 1 month vegged clone would yield 1-1.5 oz.

i like to mix a little f-13 with my other stuff just to add that little smile to the other highs.

I also am gonna try and do some crosses with DJ's blueberry im using the True BB though, so im excited to see how your stuff comes out. I dont think i am gonna breed the f-13 though. Prob bb to a bogglegum or dairy queen

Im gonna have to do that, mix strains. I can honestly say Ive never done that, and only started growing multiple strains. I have a bubblicious in flower (super strong kick me on the ass indica) I wonder what it would be like mixed with this electric sativa lol. Definitely clone all your non-hermi F13 , and keep those virile males! And thx for the kind comments.

You will not be disappointed at all. I found from the very beginning this plant was a beauty to watch, and later it was heaven to smell. The taste is up there with the best as well. Keep your males! Please and thank you

I just smoked some of this from the club...It is a very nice strain and great day time smoke. No racing heart beat just a nice electric buzz and can still get shit done lol

This is the reason I ordered this strain. Plus im in love with Dj's mindset when it comes to breeding. I needed a motivational, energetic strain to help with my ADD, and thus far it really helps tremendously.

I've tried a decent sample of this from another grower...the pheno looked very sativa (spiraling foxtails) that had both purple and green mixed in the same bud, and lots of crystals stand out from the dark colers.

The smell was real nice dark and sweet perfumy at the same time, but the dark side of it def overpowers the sweet...kinda like roasted street nuts. great smell - it stands out.

The high was very weak tho I was looking forward ot trying it too, it wasn't very motivational and inspiring like so many are claiming to me it was boring and week...however it might of just been a poor pheno.

What phenos do you guys look for and how would some of you guys compare a good f13 with the different haze hybrids that are out there?

Thanks robo. I can't find any reliable clones locally so I think I will just cough up the money and order the seeds. Its really the only way to be sure.

Looks really beautiful, I ordered f13 a little over a year ago and they ran out before they got my order and gave me blue moonshine. It was still good but your F13 looks awesome. Bet it tasted incredible.

Mmmm.... Yummy. I have some but have yet to have room to pop them. Currently, my Strawberry D and Sour D is satisfying me enough. I might just have to sprout my F13 seeds after reading this report.

f13 is actually an F6 or something right around there, the info is somewhere in the DJ forums...amazing plant tho, enjoy!!! good luck making seeds, i'll be doing the same thing as u but with 3 packs!!!

With great respect to DJS, this is the only strain that anyone can get that the high and smoke is comparable to OGKUSH, the right F13 pheno stands in a category by itself, THE END!

kola, you will not be disappointed if you get the right gurl. I had one so-so with great smoke, and one that was a disgrace with great smoke. Two are fabulous and I have sex with them.
Oh...and one that was in the garden, fed zero, and yielded quite well, nearly up with MF that grew next to it.
