So no adding medical marijuana to the bill will make it pass. At least learn the basics of how our legislative system works.

Doctors in canada get a set limit to how much money they can make, so in our country canada, docors aren't trying to get rich and they actually want to help instead of plowing threw a 100 patients in a day to get as much money as possible.

Let me let you guys in on a secret.

None of the "rich" are going to feel the pain on this. It is going to hit the folks that make BIG checks, but not the owners.

I pay myself very little money, but the shit I own builds tremendous equity. That way I don't see the bad taxes, and my "business entity" still gets the profit. All my money goes into metals and commodities, so the gains from the market sag covers my taxes.

Anyone with a brain and assets does this, that is why it is going to trickle down. Owners of businesses with employees, will tighten the belt, and drop a 20-30k worker to cover the insurance costs.

I think this is where the problem lies.

No one should blindly trust the government to have their best interest in mind. But the people SHOULD be able to trust the government to implement a system like this (if it passes/if the people want it) without fucking over everyone it is supposed to help. However from my very limited understanding of the issue, this is exactly what people fear is that the system they are trying to impose with have minimal benefit to the average person yet certain corps will get rich off it - all at the tax payer's expense of course.

When subsidizing the small number of peole who can't get health care would be MUCH cheaper. Thing is the government would not have near as much power.

I also don't understand why the sucessful need to pay for the poor on this. Everybody needs to pay something.

There are 275 million cell phone contracts in the US, which tells me everyone of those people can atleast afford 30-50 bucks a month...
