IT was one of the only spots you could actualy view it online.

Now as for jamaica.... and buying 10lbs of herb.

This herb in my opinion was not worth buying. It was A mid to lower level grade of herb.

I told Gypsy to let me buy the herb as i had contacts in Jahmekya but he got excited about purchased the first ten lbs of herb he could find ( Which in jamaica is very easy)
20us a lb comes to mind, but maybe it was upwards of 50 i really can't remember.

I do remember that not long after i ran it, i rushed home to run the herb that i had purchased ( just a few lbs)

If you watch the dvd and you see the photos of the hash that are edited into the video,,, super mouth watering bubble shots.. That is from the herb that i bought.

Your best bet to get large amounts of herb is to get to know a farmer and buy that shit untrimmed and in the ground.

Very easy to process in the field,, a set of twenty gallon bags and a bubblenow xl can easily produce a lb of bubble a day.

Now as for price's if you want to buy cheap herb you can find it in jamaica.. 10 bucks a lb no problem.

However if you want to produce something actualy worth having and smoking, then you will be looking in the 200 to 400us range.

This is herb that you could enjoy by just smoking let alone turning into hash. Very strong, potent melty bubs comes from lbs of this quality.

Also one last point i have video's of jamaica on www.pot-tv.net just do a search on either jamaica or bubble man , and you can enjoy them.

$20 - $50 per lb is absolutely crazy when ya think about it. I would have no problem in paying $400 per lb if it done the trick and I got some decent smoking material from it.

Does their lbs contain much unwanted material? I take it you guys didn't even attempt to grid the bud before processing it lol? A coffee grinder would have been handy there, also as someone suggested in a previous post, a modified washing machine, I think its a great idea, may as well get as many heads off as possible.

The more I think of this idea the more it appeals to me, but security is always a concern and I know NOBODY in Jamaica. maybe one day.

I was in Ocho Rios a month ago, I got an ounce of Pineapple Skunk for $9.00 yes nine dollars american for a phat ounce of the funkiest fruity skunk ever! This project is for sure doable, i wouln't risk the customs part myself, but it could certainly be done! The ganja is everywhere down there, and 95% of the Jamaicans are down right awesome people!!! just my 2 cents

if you're getting $40-50.. even $30 a gram for hash, then i'd be growing 10 pounds every 2 months of your own shit.. something that yields huge or w/e is best for hash making...

people dont know much about hash where im from.

Seriously, you want to risk your freedom for some weed? Or for money you could make selling it in the states. And not even for real money. A kilo of hash that sells for $50 a gram retail is going to gross $50K. And you'll get maybe half that wholesale. That's insane, crazy, stupid, idiotic.

I saw it. I liked seeing the Jamican countryside. It looks beautiful

Really seems like a lot of work to use the bubble bags. What's the reason for this technique as opposed to making kief hash. Does it extract more of the hashy goodness?

Seems like using tumbler would be less labor intensive, but I've never made hash. I guess transporting a large tumbler to Jamaica would be difficult though, lol.

I liked the one set in Morocco. I'm old school.

well im thinking that in jamica the BETTER weed(I had put dro here but i need to change it) is 200-400 a lb and the swag is the 20-40$ a pound.

I disagree with the quality you guys are talking about. I visited Jamaica on a cruise and was only there for 8 hours. During that time I got a taxi driver and asked him to hook me up with some chronic. He started to drive and I continued to tell him I want high quality only and not to waste my time. Then he drove me up high into the mountains where I sat at the top of a stone wall looking out over the whole island. Soon a couple of guys came with a huge bag of weed that had not even been taken off the stems. (it was dry however) Then I told them I would like an ounce and they asked me how much money I had. I told them I had $100.00 U.S.A. and they started to grab handful after handful of high grade chronic.

I told them I had to get it all back onto the boat and they were giving me too much. Then I made a deal that if they were to help me clip off the nugs from the branches that I would give them the 100 and I would not take quite as much as they were offering. They took that deal without hesitation. They handed me two ice cold Red Stripe beers and told me to chill and enjoy the scenery. After about 30 min they were done and handed me about a quarter pound of very nice Sativa buds.

Next I had to stuff the bag of chronic down my pants and proceed back onto the ship. Every time you leave the ship you have to go back through customs upon your return. When you go through customs you have to go through a tunnel that is enclosed with little air flow, show the people your cruise id card, then proceed back to your cabins. I stunk up the whole customs area and the whole floor where my cabin was. Great times!

So a couple of answers to your questions.
How hard would it be to get 10 lbs? Not hard at all, especially during harvest season. Only took me 15 min to find a cab driver that ended up hooking me up.

How good is the smoke? Very good. I live in Cali and have been smoking nothing but high grade chronic for years. Jamaican buds were not quite as good as "hydro" but very good indeed. The high was soaring.

I did end up trying to grow some of the seeds that I ended up finding in the sacks. However they got WAY to tall and within a month they were over 10ft tall in my back yard. Had to pull them =(
