Hello from Michigan

I'm a 40ish green-neck (equally comfy with a bong and a chainsaw). Been building rooms and growing hydro off and on for about a decade. My main interest these days is getting a coop going in Michigan. Was thinking about a multi-bedroom house or small inexpensive motel where tenants would all be caretaker/growers. I'm speaking with an attorney and and accountant soon regarding the legalities/logistics. Any info or interest out there? Thanks, GroDoc.

Lots of interest on the Michigan-specific sites, although many people seem to be stretching the boundaries of the laws intent (12 plants, 2.5 ounces, 5 patients per caregiver).

Saw an article somewhere recently citing a northern Michigan town as having the cheapest real estate in the country. Of course, if you live there you know that...

Anyway, it seems like a good time to get at least the first half of a time-tested business rule correct: "Buy Low, Sell High".

Yea, there are decent livable homes for sale around here in the 20-50K range. 14 unit motel for 169k. Rust belt woes.

You would be doing it eddy lepp style then not actually growing but giving people a place to grow.

10-4 on that. Another interest of mine is getting weed to end-of-lifers in Hospice care type condition in an affordable and responsive way. I do also like to grow though. Anyone know of any movements like this over Michigan way?

movements yep theirs one here and people are still getting busted here in Mich. am going to court my self we won are case but the PA is appealing

got one. V-tower. Works well. Taste and technique take a little getting used to. peace

Been using the V-tower with bags for about a week now. Feels healthier with less phlegm. Taste seems a bit monotonous but nice. I'm guessing a lot of the flavor variations are related to burning inactive ingredients. Burning the leftover "hay" still smells like good bud. To squeeze the most out of the bud I do several several bags of vapor with escalating temps starting @ 375 and moving up in 25 degree increments to about 450F. Potency wise you seem to get more out of the weed by vaporizing. The high is different, cleaner, and a bit less complex than with smoking. It seems to last longer.

All in all, I think it's a decent option for healthier consumption. It's like going from a nice merlot to a box of wine. You get just as drunk but the ritual and subtleties seem a bit lacking. peace.

thanks wannagogreen, I'm working steady. I'm hearing a straight-up above ground version of that might still attract federal attention. There are of course certain counties in the state that are more politically favorable than others. I'm still working on it. I'll keep folks updated here if interested. peace
