8-0
Go Saints!!!!!:woohoo:

HELL YEAH!!!

8-0 and with the next two games being @ St. Louis, and @ Tampa Bay.... It's not a stretch of the imagination, to say that the SAINTS would be 10-0 with New England coming to the Superdome for Monday night.

WHO DAT?!!!

HDN, I do agree that was very dirty and I would hate for that to happen to me, but I feel like this stuff goes on way more than we think, I just happen to think harris just got caught. It was like the LB Spike from Florida who tried to rip his eyes out. If you have played organize football this stuff always happens at the bottom on the pile when no one can see. Hell i'd be lying if I said I never did any dirty shit like that back in HS. Competition can make a person do things they never thought they do...

How about them boys, I don't hear anymore g-men fans claiming to be the best team in the nfl now...

Haha, G8, that's awesome! You were yellow-carded! I thought that only happened in soccer...
I've never been kicked out of a stadium before, mostly because I'm too cheap to get drunk on $8 beers, but don't feel bad G8. I listen to the Howard Stern show and a couple of the guys on there who are big sports fans say they've gotten kicked out of numerous stadiums in the past. So it's more common than you think. But yeah, you should lay off the sauce next time. Maybe eat some cannafood before the game, that way you can stay nice and buzzed throughout.

Week 9 is down, and this we know:
Saints and Colts still unbeaten, have taken down all comers. Cowboys putting together a nice streak and on top of their division. Bears are looking terrible, especially their D (as far as Tommie Harris, in the words of the immortal Mike Ditka: "That's the first time he's hit someone all year." Hardeeharhar).

The Niners are on a bit of a losing streak but the Titans, even though they were 1-6 heading into the game, were still a team that went 13-3 last year so maybe they're finally playing up to their potential. Smith's stat line was hurt by all the TO's but two of those INT's came in the last minutes of the game, when they were trying to score quickly, so perhaps that's forgivable.

The Steelers beat the Broncos tonite and are playing like champions. Their upcoming games against the Bengals will be interesting.

The Broncos, after a hot start, are losers of two straight. Interesting that they didnt attempt any shots downfield; I know Orton is good at those short and intermediate routes but after a while the Steelers were jumping those routes. With three good, fast receivers you'd think he could sling it vertically once in a while to keep the defense honest. His arm strength is average but surely he can get it 40 yards downfield? Put him in the shotgun if he needs more time to set and throw. Maybe I'm vastly oversimplifying matters but the Broncos need to get something going on offense in order to be a contender, and I'm not just saying that because I have Knowshon Moreno on my fantasy team :rasta: (although I saw his blitz pickup skills today and now I know why he splits carries with Buckhalter).

bababooey, the steelers did win big..but they still arent at their best.Im happy with their toughness and effort but would like to see more production....
the chargers stunned the giants into reality.....And the fans arent as loud anymore....
I still like the niners they arent perfect but they are tough....
the saints look scary they win at their worst..The colts are the colts w/o peyton they go nowhere....Dallas is playing like they do every november...and in dec and jan. they will play like they allways do.plus they get to play the redskins and giants twice a season.I cant see them beating any of the better teams in a playoff game.Vince young looks pretty good agaig.Mike Vick is starting to talk to merdia how he wont be a wildcat guy. Whatever happend to "IM just happy to be signed and will do whatever they need me to do"?Looks like teams are getting better at defending the wildcat.well guys till next week.be well.

HDN, you remind of that person who will dish is out but can't take it, thats not any fun now is it? Its called a different point of view and FYI not everyone thinks the same way you do ,if you realized that you might not come off as such a dick. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings my intentions were to break your balls like sports fans do. Seriously you need to sit back and relax, try some yoga that shit works unbelievable better than weed IMO.

I'll keep it weed related from now on with you we seem to get along better that way.

I see you dont take it so well either Otto.... its all good bro.... Im as chillaxed as can be and my feelings arent hurt.It sounded alot like you were trying to say what Tommie Harris did was ok...cause it happens sometimes...I really disagree with that sentiment.Just a little fun man....
just some friendly ribbing..go your way ill go mine......

Here we go. Best of luck to you, Gr8shoe. May the best team win. Both of us could really use a W right now...

Ugh, I'm starting rethink my opinion of Cutler. Half the time I wish we still had Orton...

Congrats on the W, Gr8shoe. That Crabtree looks like he has hands of glue; he might be the next coming of Rice. And Alex Smith, well this is the first time I've really seen him play. Smith is 'eh' (of course, he didn't throw 5 INTs tonite, so he looked a lot better than Cutler). I'd like to see him in a shotgun spread, that might suit his skillset more (his athleticism and ability to improvise), but with a player like Gore I can see why Singletary wants to line up in a power formation.

It seems at times that both teams tried their best to lose this game. The Bears had a chance at the end, but true to form, Cutler somehow managed to not see the three guys in red in between him and his receiver and threw it right to a defender.

Bababooey,
Cutler will be the real deal one day..he threw 5 picks but only 2 were really on him alone...Your o line needs to ship up....Your d was better tonighte....A few changes and lovie will right the ship. mabey not this year but your team is on the up...Steelers face a good test again this week vs the bengals they passed the 1st 2 tests with flying colors in San Diego and Denver.Im pleased with how they are starting to gell on defence.......starting to be more in control in the 4th qtr the past couple weeks.offence is scoring points this year but needs to stop the fumbles and picks and i think we got a good shot.......
