Colorado MMJ card without medical records?

Here's the deal, I'm lucky in that I haven't had to visit a doctor in 10 years. I have some medical issues (appetite, stress, sleeplessness) that are all helped with cannabis. I haven't been to the doctor because cannabis works for all of these conditions AND because I can't afford to go. I have no need for pharmaceuticals that traditional docs prescribe.

Now I have a dilemma. I want to get legal, but I have no medical records. I've seen the ads for the docs who will give you a rec for $150, but most require a medical history, which I don't have.

What the hell am I supposed to do now?

I'm sure some of you are in the same boat, what did you do to get your card? I'd really like to avoid any shadiness in the process, but maybe that's not realistic. I'm open to any ideas. Thanks.

Did you use one of them? I've seen all the ads on CL, and honestly they don't seem legit. I want to do this right and not screw myself on step one. I just don't have any extra cash to throw around.

Thanks I'll check them out. I assume they don't require their patients to sign them up as their caregiver?

Just called, $89 if they are your caregiver, $129 if not.

There is no medical exam or expert on earth who can say that you are not having serious pain. Everyone has physical and mental pain of some kind.

I myself have very serious pain whenever I think about running out of high grade, connoisseur type cannabis.

Problem is, cannabis has already helped me with my nausea, which caused significant weight loss before I started self-medicating. I really hope they don't ask me to puke on cue during the exam.

I guess I can stop self-medicating for a week and come into the office and throw up in the lobby for them.

Obviously this is all just silly to me. Stress is a killer, why the hell is it not on the list? I'm getting more stressed just worrying about wasting money on my appointment. Craziness.

Chronic severe nausea should work. It can have numerous causes including neuromuscular stomach disorders, and can be very difficult to diagnose. Below are the qualifying conditions for mmj in CO, pasted from the Dept of Public Health.
Section 14. Medical use of marijuana for persons suffering from debilitating medical conditions. (1) As used in this section, these terms are defined as follows:
(a) "Debilitating medical condition" means:
(I) Cancer, glaucoma, positive status for human immunodeficiency virus, or acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or treatment for such conditions;
(II) A chronic or debilitating disease or medical condition, or treatment for such conditions, which produces, for a specific patient, one or more of the following, and for which, in the professional opinion of the patient's physician, such condition or conditions reasonably may be alleviated by the medical use of marijuana: cachexia; severe pain; severe nausea; seizures, including those that are characteristic of epilepsy; or persistent muscle spasms, including those that are characteristic of multiple sclerosis; or
(III) Any other medical condition, or treatment for such condition, approved by the state health agency, pursuant to its rule making authority or its approval of any petition submitted by a patient or physician as provided in this section.

I am in the same boat, because of a shoulder injury I have consistent muscle spasms. I asked a doctor about it at student health and he basically said you can get pharmaceuticals or just live with it. Being a broke uninsured student I chose to just "live with it" I am now a broke unemployed uninsured civil engineer. Does anyone know of ways to get legal in WA without medical records, because I can not afford doctors visits right now just to prove something is wrong.
