So,now that there is a light at the end of the tunnel of legalization, dealers are becoming the bad guys?? My guys have been coming through for me since the early 80's,rejecting the swag and giving me access to the highest quality imports for $40-$50 a 1/4 while my buddies are smoking $20 1/4s of brown. I think I'll remain loyal.
Peace

Posts: 0 I do not understand how the main poster still likes to pretend to himself that marijuana is legal in California. If I was to go a California and smoke a blunt on the street a cop could come up to me and harass me. And if he found enough Weed on me he could then arrest me.

I am not sick and I refuse to lie and pretend I am sick just to get a card. Even through I remember the original poster once saying that everyone is using weed medicinally, completely false. Since medicine is to treat sick people, I am not sick, just like to get high.

The power of the plant is in the hands of unregulated collectives, I rather it be in the hands of the consumers. It needs to be completely legal for that to happen.

Let's get it straight...

Let's get it straight...

I do not understand how the main poster still likes to pretend to himself that marijuana is legal in California.

#1 - In California you would have to be smoking a foot long blunt driving down the freeway to get arrested. Busting folks for simple possession is the LOWEST priority for local law enforcement, state troopers, etc. It is the FEDS who want to lock you up.

#2 - Glad you are not a hypocrite. Many so-called sick people are just using this as an excuse...agreed. But is that such a bad thing? Using cannabis regularly PREVENTS many illnesses.

#3 - Agreed. Vote for complete legalization! Not taxation and regulation NOOOOO! Anyone who proposes taxing and regulating cannabis is more interested in making money than freeing cannabis! And yes there are way too many people making money off of medicine, and weed. Legalization would lower prices, allow users to grow their own safely and cheaply, and end the drug wars as we know them.

Do something positive! Write your representatives in government and tell them what you want!

Save the dealer? naww.... Save the Grower.... I cant stand people calling weed distributers dealers.... i see them more as a at home MMJ pharmasist. People are not doing "drugs", we smoking/eating meds....
you know when you go to your buddy and he says, "this is good shit, couple hits will set you straight"... this the unspoken dose...a couple hits... hehehe I personally would not want middle men giving me a bud. Why we need to make each other broke at $50 an eighth? when it may only cost no more then $200 to grow the whole pound? :yoinks:

Push to decriminalize... we can win the fight, make it more economical and not have to worry about gov or anyone tampering with us.
:fsu:((PLEASE DONT BE AFFENDED, Just an opinion):joint:

All I know is that time mag sux. Always did. If they're that progressive let them with their publishing power convince the Unites States Goverment and the population that weed should be legal. This bs about no more dealers is garbage. We need todays mainstream publications to begin to teach the public what a waste the war on drugs is and how it only keeps the money in the hands of the " narco trafficers" . How the war on drugs is denying too many people who could benifit from the use of a plant that can be grown virtually for free. Those effects of that plant that would improve the quality of life for many people currently suffering from debilitating conditions. That is the travesty called the war on drugs and the war on the American Taxpayer. The war on drugs is a war on the American Taxpayer. Stealing American Taxpayer money to prosecute people who are providing help to many sick individuals. When will it change ? When will we the people get a vote on the issue Nationwide?

oh ya it is legal already. tell that to eddy lepp.

Speaking of Eddy Lepp they need help to save his farm. here is a quote from a friend on facebook...

Help save Eddy Lepp farm We need 4,000 people donate $100 each = $400,000 that seems workable We had lost Eddy's MySpace page and all of our contacts!!!! If you could PLEASE send this on to all and pray that we can save the FARM! You can make your donations to: Save the FARM. C/O Linda Lepp P.O. Box 382 Upper Lake, CA. 95485 Thank you, Linda Lepp, The family, And the Ministry.

My suggestion...

how about a big huge clone sale. Seriously 32,000 clones at 12.5 each would pay off the bill. Given people v kelly proving that eddy was in compliance with state law and that the feds are being hypocrits it would be more than appropriate......

oh and further proof that Cannabis is totally legal in California if you simply pay your doctors tax...

http://cbs5.com/local/medical.marijuana.case.2.1290320.html said:
The California Supreme Court, at a special session in Berkeley on Tuesday, appeared likely to strike down a state law that sets an 8-ounce limit on the amount of medical marijuana a patient can possess at one time.

The court found itself in the unusual position of having a prosecutor and a defense attorney in a criminal case agree it would be unconstitutional to prosecute genuine patients for violating the limit.

Deputy California Attorney General Michael Johnsen told the court, "We are basically on the same path."

Johnsen, representing prosecutors, and Santa Clara University law professor Gerald Uelmen, representing a medical marijuana patient, both said the limit set by the Legislature in 2003 is an unconstitutional amendment of the state's voter-approved Compassionate Use Act of 1996.

Their only disagreement was in how the court should go about invalidating the limit procedurally and whether the panel should explicitly uphold another part of the 2003 law that sets up an identification card program.

The hearing on the appeal by Patrick Kelly of Los Angeles County of his marijuana possession conviction was part of an outreach session held by the court at the School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley.

The basis for that conclusion to agree that the limits are wrong is quoted in my signature...

atleast you folks in Cali have it better than us in Fla, you've got to be extra careful, but depending on your proximity to miami and the tone of your skin the police are usually to busy to care (ie. friends that have been caught in a car 4+ times and sent on their way with the stash)

"They can't compete on price, selection, customer service, quality control or not-getting-arrestedness, and they have no skills that translate into another industry."

Shit, I routinely have a wide variety (10+ strains) and give away edibles, hash and kief to my patients, and I deliver as well. My prices are lower than at the clubs by a mile. I'm in sales in my day job, and I do quite well at both. I've also never been inside a police car for any reason.
